Hello, try this:HI! DOWNLOAD WEEKLY 21.5.26 This version does not allow duplicating applications, when doing so the mobile restarts and the created app does not start.
Thank you for your work first of all
Seems weird that only k20 pro is affected by this since it's way more higher end device with higher specs than many that aren't.For all the suspended device the issue for weekly ROMs is basically this:
K20 / K20 Pro / Mi 9 are in same boat... MIUI is getting bigger and bigger (and without fully-optimized code, what the f*** Xiaomi...) and since we can't resize the partition of these old devices, I don't know if they will receive MIUI 13... ^^Seems weird that only k20 pro is affected by this since it's way more higher end device with higher specs than many that aren't.
Can't seem to find the ability to preview on back small window while using back camera.
Mi 11 Ultra.
Hopefully there's fix in next version.
cheers
This is due to the translation.Mi 11 here is there a way to remove the afternoon/morning word beside the statusbar clock ? I know 24hr format removes it but i want to keep using 12hr format
Why can't the partition not be resized? Is it because it is read only? Wouldn't it be possible to be resized with a factory reset? Or reformat the partition to another file system (Maybe with twrp/magisk.) Just asking..K20 / K20 Pro / Mi 9 are in same boat... Now, after being delayed, 21.5.27 for davinci (Redmi K20/Mi 9T) is availableMi 9T [davinci] dirty flashed OK; no problem so far, all good.
thank you !
I don't think Xiaomi would enjoy the factory reset / TWRP / Magisk solutionsWhy can't the partition not be resized? Is it because it is read only? Wouldn't it be possible to be resized with a factory reset? Or reformat the partition to another file system (Maybe with twrp/magisk.) Just asking..
Some people frankly deserve that arroganceLOLO9393 always arrogant!
Haha, it's not a very elegant solution, but it may be a solution. Like tell users miui 13 will require a format. (Ok actually, people without root that care about the app data probably wont upgrade..) But think the format might not even solve this..I don't think Xiaomi would enjoy the factory reset / TWRP / Magisk solutions
Although the System is read-only, installing/updating MIUI overwrites the System. Hence, being read-only, per-se, is not preventing its resizingWhy can't the partition not be resized? I'm telling you that memory management module from Magisk is really helps you a lot,you can modify it to "not kill" the specific app in the background...Thanks for the reply, I have the 4GB one but it is not much more different than what you describe. I currently don't have root, but I will keep it in mind if it gets unbearable. Their memory usage is ridiculous.

Resizing physical memory blocks means repartitioning the whole memory, including erasure of user data. No company does that, or will be willing to do that. Since all recent devices use dynamic partitions spread across about 8.5GB of physical memory block, that is no longer a problem companies have to deal with. Why can't the partition not be resized? Is it because it is read only? Wouldn't it be possible to be resized with a factory reset? Or reformat the partition to another file system (Maybe with twrp/magisk.) Just asking..
Irrelevant. Static partitions are obsolete, no new devices come with predetermined partition sizes. However K20 pro have a big community...
Not really. It's really important for me tbh, I often to add and remove account for my college and work.
Sure, the idea is to wait for the next release where we fixed it. However, we didn't break it so we don't really have to fix Xiaomi's mistakes, but then you're using a Weekly (a.k.a Beta) ROM, so issues are more than expected.Same here. Need to remove the exchange email account of my former company, but there is no remove/delete button.
Any idea? Don't want to do factory reset to get rid of that account.
