- In calendar app, I set in Settings, "Start of the week: Monday", but it always displays Sunday for the first day of the week.
Same here.on Mi9
That was also reported few days ago by someone. For me, too, on Mi 9T

Btw, for my region the week should start by Monday but nevertheless in the Calendar it is always Sunday, no matter if I choose Region default, Monday or Saturday

If finding sticky posts is hard, then I don't know what else to advise you...

Are you using Magisk? I have no issue on my Mi 9T. :)

You can try this:

Wipe "All data" of these following apps (in phone's settings): "Google Play store", "Google Play services" and "Google Service Framework"

Reboot your device after that. ;)

Hello, I wanted to ask you something, I have the Mi 9T, I update a little to the latest version published in this thread, but my TWRP is 3.4.0, I have searched everywhere for the most current TWRP that I can install on my mi 9t without damaging the recovery, I see that you use a different recovery, could you advise me on this?

EDIT: Could you also direct me to a guide where I can install root on this my 9t?
Hello :)

You can install any custom recovery you like for your davinci (latest versions are recommended) => https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=318221&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC

For all custom recovery as a "zip" file => Simply install the zip file in your current custom recovery (TWRP) in order to install the new custom recovery. ;)

And here's my guide for installing Magisk => https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...nstalling-android-11-update.60181/post-594671

Look for the latest twrp-3.5.2_9-0-davinci right on the official TWRP site:

Also, for the Magisk Installation instructions on the official Magisk Github site:

And important: You have to patch BOOT (not Recovery) image. There is a note/exception there talking about, but probably not clear enough that it applies to Xiaomi

At the end, in Magisk app, Settings, enable MagiskHide (hide Magisk from various forms of detection) option - it's no more enabled by default

Anyway, I have Mi 9T too with Xiaomi.eu 21.5.12, latest TWRP twrp-3.5.2_9-0, and latest Magisk v23 installed by patching and flashing the boot.img, and everything is ok

I have the Mi 9T Pro and don't have ramdisk.
The instructions says if you device does not have boot ramdisk, you need a copy of the recovery image... Then,I don't know, which partition have to patch, boot (like you say) or recovery (like the installation)?

Hi,
Once again thank you devs for another great update.
I noticed that the swipe right option to delete message is now not working, haven't checked settings of messages, was there a change in messages?

Also patch the boot.img as ectracted from Xiaomi.eu zip file.
When patching, leave Recovery not enabled (as default). Flash the patched img to boot partition.
For flashing, Magisk instructions recommend fastboot - but I always flash from TWRP (Install IMG) with no problems (there are no appropriate TWRPs for some devices).
If anything goes wrong, just flash the original boot.img

Besides, in Xiaomi.eu zip you will not find recovery.img (at least, I never have on Mi 9T) - hence you cannot fail

== About invisible/unswipable "Media" notification issue (Spotify, Tidal, Youtube Music, Bandcamp, etc.) ==

It's a known Official bug by Xiaomi... :(

Here's a solution to fix this issue (you don't need to re-apply the fix after a reboot but for a ROM update I don't know...):

1) Download and install "Termux" app => Termux-0.113.apk

2) Open Termux and type: su

3) Grant root permissions then type: settings put secure qs_media_resumption 0

4) Type: exit (2 times) to quit Termux. :)

5) Done! You can uninstall Termux app if you want. ;)

-OR-

1) Plug your phone to your computer without allowing transfert files or photos (keep "charge only" mode)

2) Go in phone's settings => My Device => All specs => Tap 7~10 times on the "MIUI Version" tile (until you see "You are now a developer" message)

3) Go back in main settings menu => Additional settings => Developer options (at the bottom) => Enable "USB debugging (Security Settings)" option then enable "USB debugging" option (tick then "OK" to confirm)

4) A pop-up will ask you to authorize ADB via USB => Allow

5) On your computer, open a command-prompt window and type this command: adb devices

6) If you see - for the last line - something like this: 12345678________device then you can continue! :)

7) Type this command: adb shell settings put secure qs_media_resumption 0

8) Done! You can unplug your phone from your computer and disable "USB debugging (Security Settings)" and "USB debugging" options (in developer options page). Then you can also hide the "Developer options" menu => Disable the first option in developer options page then tap "back arrow" icon (top-left) 2 times. ;)

When I try the adb method (because I don't have root) this error comes up:
Edit: Nvm, just solved it....

Hello :)

If TWRP can't decrypt your data, you can:

1) Try to use a pattern instead of a PIN/password, to unlock the screen of your device. Then boot in TWRP and wait for TWRP to ask for your pattern

2) Use USB OTG stick => Copy the new TWRP on this stick and flash TWRP ".img" file from it, in your current TWRP

3) Boot your phone in "Fastboot" mode then fastboot flash the new TWRP

;)
