Look for lain_B posts in this thread. He has posted many times a solution for this "setting problem". Rom is not the problem, the problem is in your settings.

Because the API key all Magisk releases up to v22.1 use was blocked by Google, so the check fails...
Use Magisk v23.0 if you insist on checking SafetyNet with Magisk.

I am writing from/for a Mi 9T device - I've installed latest xiaomi.eu and went to fingerprint for Widevine restore (was lost at some point, maybe first time when I installed xiaomi.eu) - I tried to update the certificate and I am getting error code 1. Any ideas? thanks!

Phone's settings => Password & Security => Fingerprint unlock => Fingerprint payments => Widevine (L1)

i can reach there, i can press add, but when i put my finger it does nothing, only lights up but doesnt appear to register a thing, both finger and screen are cleaned
