Hi at worst, reflash the original rom without relocking the bootloader then you reinstall twrp then the xiaomi.eu rom again it should work flawlessly.

I used to have that and there is even a bug thread for it but it was invalidated since it was random. I fixed it in a rather peculiar way which you may try - get the scanner apk from apkmirror and install it with the Android package installer, then click on uninstall Updates to get back to the xiaomi.eu version and you should have Document scan working again if your error is the same as mine.

Have you tried searching for 'Preferred network type'?
That should list twice - one for each SIM. I have the 5G option for SIM 1.

~Dunno if it can help, but try to playwith the fonts. Like turn on or off the system wide fonts.

Thanks, but there is no difference.

EDIT:

After changing the fonts nothing happened, but then I turned off and back on System-Wide variable font and restarted, as it asked for restart. Then some icons were different so I re-applied the default icon theme and now the controls are back.

It sounds like a solution, however not very happy about it as the way I got it working is strange and illogical.

Hmm, xiaomi had previously caused issues with system wide fonts, so the developers, I think, added a switch to turn it off in case there are broken characters. Maybe the same thing happens again.

I note that you have the 'Old version' of the Control center style. I tried that and I still have the controls / buttons.
If you try the 'New version', do you get the controls / buttons then?

Also, when you install the weekly ROMs, do you perform a 'tidy up', as I have described elsewhere:
clear phone memory; run cleaner; clear recents; clear Dalvik; clear cache; delete /data/system/package_cache folder?

On my Mi10 my twrp version is Recovery Project 3.5.1_10-|MB|-v1.1
Do you think I can download the rom and flash it directly from the phone e and make wipe cache/dalvik without use OTG USB?

Just copy the ROM to your internal storage and install using TWRP normally. OTG isn't needed.

On Mi10 too?

Guys, I've been flashing the roms on my mi 10 without otg (download straight into internal storage) even before the new mb twrps. The new ones have the advantage that there's ~no need to boot into them through fastboot.
Edit: please don't download this rom as probably within hours the new one will be released .
