good evening everyone I have installed A12 on mi 10 umi. I noticed that the audio of the microphono is very low, do you know something? thanks

Is there any motivation why there isn't any mi9 family build?
Will Mi 9 series be supported in the future?

I can't get my poco f2 pro to show up in fastboot mode in adb when i type in 'adb devices'. It only shows up when the phone is powered on.

Anyone know how to fix?

Use "fastboot devices" command to check if your phone is correctly connected in Fastboot mode to your computer. ;)
Many thanks for that! I'm such an idiot

Can you please tell me how to install a custom rom from fastboot mode please as TWRP doesn't function properly anymore. I'm running this latest rom on a Poco F2 Pro

Clear all data of the Updater app in phone's settings and check for an update again. ;)

But, anyway, you normally can't download "fastboot" ROMs via the Updater app... ^^
yes odd, im just downloading fastboot anyway.

guys idk if is a problem or not but on poco f3 battery is dropping super fast from 20 percent til 0 percent , is that normal or why is happening that ????
is taking like 4 5 min or less , that shouldnt be normal i mean if u have phone 20 percent and u know soon be 0 so is setted like that or ?

You can't install all ROMs in Fastboot mode, you need to use a "fastboot" ROM (ROM specifically made to flash via Fastboot instead of Recovery). If you have a "recovery" ROM (custom ROMs are generally "recovery" ROMs), you need to use TWRP and so need to downgrade to Android 11 => Download the latest Official Stable "fastboot" ROM with Android 11 for your device and flash it via MiFlash tool (be sure to tick "clean all" at the bottom-right and NOT "clean all and lock"), finish the first configuration wizard (do not set a screen lock method) then use TWRP to install the custom ROM you want. ;)

Really appreciate you taking the time to reply & explain it all. Still very new to all this.

Thanks very much

sorry, how do you install the ROM in fastboot. in the zip there is no .bat file to run ..
You have a nice chart in the first post where you can know which devices are currently having a "Recovery" or "Fastboot" ROM type. ;)

-> "Recovery" ROM = Install in Recovery mode (= in TWRP / OrangeFox / PitchBlack / etc.)

-> "Fastboot" ROM = Install in Fastboot mode

:)

I don't know what happened, but I can't update my K40 pro (I usually do weekly update), I check all my drivers, dev option, usb debug etc, but the .bat file cannot recognize my device as "haydn" it always close the cmd after I double click the .bat file.
I came up with a solution by editing the .bat file (not recommended) by removing the line

if "%DEVICE%" neq "haydn" echo This package is for "haydn" devices; this is a "%DEVICE%". & exit /B 1

then save, I run again the bat file, then the installation start (cmd do not close), after finishing, my device boot up and work normally.

Just sharing my experience.

is the zip file mention "fastboot" ? if yes you need to update via fastboot command & not twrp

There is no 100% working twrp for a12 at the moment

A description how to install it you can find here. Scroll down to section "OLD FASTBOOT GUIDE"
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...iaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-mi11-pro-ultra.59486/

Extract the fastboot image ... start CMD and change to the folder where you have extracted the image

Then it depends if you install the xiaomi.eu rom for the first time / if you want a clean install with format or as an update

# windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat
