Has anyone had success with WiFi on Android 12? On mi 11 Venus and WiFi works like every 5th reboot and only for a few minutes. Today I did play store updates using usb->ethernet adapter, my poor data plan will run out if Xiaomi doesn't sort this out next release lol
Also some issues I haven't seen reported are:
- Web links not opening in correct apps (YouTube/Reddit opening in Chrome). Have definitely played round with the settings but don't think it's my configuration since on 11 it was fine
- Widgets from work profile don't work, they instead show data from the personal profile
It feels a bit more stable this week but still it has soft rebooted on me
Device is in fastboot mode?Hi, I just tried to update my mi11 via fastboot. USB-Debugging is enabled but the batchfile does nothing. Just a blinking cursor. What am I doing wrong?
Sorry, I should have responded directly. Now it's a new posting,Device is in fastboot mode?
Try to use flashtool from xiaomi...Sorry, I should have responded directly. Now it's a new posting,
I solved it by deleting the data from the app permissions on 21.9.15 and then I upgraded to 21.10.27Someone can help me. I installed beta 12 on my Poco F3, but when the phone starts the message appears: permissions continue to fail, then disconnect and enter twrp
I'm a little bit further. This is a new pc and ADB and fastboot weren't installed yet. Now they are. Adb recognizes the phone, when it's not in fastboot mode. The bat still doesn't work. The Xiaomi flash tool simply runs the bat, is that really better?Try to use flashtool from xiaomi...
Ok, I tried the Xiaomi-Tool. The phone was not recognised in fastboot mode. Thus I started the flash in normal mode and now the flash seems to be running. I hope it worksI'm a little bit further. Nope. I tried switching region since I saw somewhere that could be a fix, can't remember which thread. No luck. I looked in logcat to see what was going on and the WiFi driver completely fails to start. In "All Specs" "Status" the WiFi Mac address shows as "Not available", I'm not sure if that's due to the driver, WiFi being off, or something else. I guess we'll have to wait for a new betaI still have a problem with the wifi on my 11 I can't make it turn on and I have restarted it several times and nothing
have you managed to solve it?
That of course did not work. But, as the flash tool installed more drivers, I just restarted the pc and now the bat is working. Thanks for the hint.Ok, I tried the Xiaomi-Tool. Then that's your Windows to blame, not the script, as "findstr" is part of Windows. The command "findstr" is either misspelled or
could not be found.
This package is for "alioth" devices; this is a "unknown".
some more details please, are you in fastboot, did you install the drivers, what is the error message, did you move from stable to weekly….how to update via fastboot, i cant using windows_fastboot_update_rom
But the funny thing is that if you make a change to Android 11, the problem continues and I have taken it to the technical service (Unofficial) and they told me that it cannot be fixed, it is a problem on the motherboard. I do not know how true this is but it is very worryingNope. I tried switching region since I saw somewhere that could be a fix, can't remember which thread. No luck. Would you kindly elaborate more on this? A short tutorial would be niceI solved it by deleting the data from the app permissions on 21.9.15 and then I upgraded to 21.10.27
