How do you use the audio output switcher? It's been a feature the rom really needed but I'm not sure how to use it since now it's in the rom. It's not in the volume slider or notification panel

Maybe disabling the "pocket sensor" or enabling it can solve?
I couldn't find such an option. Sadly this bug is a "dealbreaker" for me, playing with disabling/enabling fingerprints or restarting everytime I put my phone in my pocket is a no go.

I can confirm that the deep sleeps problem depends on finger print sensor in standby. After deactivating finger print the phone goes in deep sleep. (Mi 9 lite)

Whatdoes he mean with 'joker virus', yu have any idea? my mi8se contacts app sometimes enormously freezing.
Could it have anything to do with it?
Probably a piece of code in contacts that's mistakenly identified as this virus. If Igor says it's false positive there is no reason to doubt that

Hi to all,
What happen if I wipe System when update from previous version to this? Is better or worst?
Thanks and regards

Where to find this? I know in former firmwares you could turn on a toggle for accidental touch, but I cannot find it anymore
That's in AOD & Lock Screen settings. Last one in the bottom

This was mentioned on 20.7.16 changelog:
Always on display
New - You can select what should be displayed or not displayed on your AOD: notifications, battery status, date and time, steps.

I just flashed the latest 20.7.23 (over 20.7.2) on my Mi 9T Pro (raphael) and I've noticed that some of those AOD features aren't present in AOD settings. I always use Digital style AOD but I would like to show only notifications and battery level and skip the clock and date.
On my phone, in AOD Settings for Digital clock, Displayed items contain only Battery, Notifications and Steps.
Is there a way to hide the clock and date, like the changelog mentioned?
Hide clock and time is probably managed only for "Signature" styles.

I went back to 20.7.2. Have no Deep Sleep as I can see and battery is not that good again. With 20.7.2, considering my usage, I got up to 4 days without charge, now barely 1.5.

Mi 9T

How is the wake up/deep sleep?
Previous have sometimes been wake up too often
Deep sleep with AOD disabled. BBS percentages are from last night after the update that cleared the cache and dalvilk. Previously the phone did not go into deep sleep even offline.

hi, thanks for your hard work! but is there a chance that firmware for polaris will be released? it's currently third version in a row that is suspended for mix2s. Hopefully it will
Ask Xiaomi when will they release China Beta for Mix 2S. It isn't because Xiaomi can't compile ROM for this device for unknown reason (probably too small space on /system partition).

Hey, so, uh, bit of a noob question coming up.

I'm currently running the last EU MIUI 11 rom (20.3.26) on my Mi9.
If I want to upgrade to the EU MIUI12.1 weekly, should I do a full clean install, or a dirty flash should suffice?

Thx!

Backup data, do a dirty flash. If anything goes sideways, do a clean flash.

I was wondering.... My phone doesn't go in deep sleep, but I have not great battery drain. Almost 2 days with deep usage.... So, what's deep sleep for?

As far as I understood, deep sleep comes to count when you don't use your phone. Then battery should not drain much
