I had the same problem.
I went back to the previous release and it was ok again.
I even made a test to try the new version again, because I want sure if I really wiped the cache at my first try. But again it got laggy.
I went back again to the previous release and again everything is ok.
After going back to the previous version the gallery app keeps crashing all the time

Do you have this problem?

Mine has the same problem.
It's specially laggy after unlock and when I clear the notification.
Hope it will be fixed the next build.
By the way how do you go back to the previous build?
Can I download the file, put it into my phone and ''choose the update package'' in the Updater?

@ingbrzy

can we add new animations?
Mi mix alpha charging screen seems cool
Finger print unlock animation?
An option to choose perhaps
Port the best apps from other phones
Dont know if it will work

Anyway the updates fixed my phone battery from drawing too much... phone is not better...

If you have TWRP Backup of your previous rom. You should install that version after the initial flashing of pie stock rom, then restore your backup.

Is it possibile to lock bootloader on China version phone with xiaomi.eu rom without Brick effect ? Is it possibile now to have any xiaomi.eu rom without magisk (or anything similar) with cts profile true ?

Now it is not possible to have custom ROMs (for example xiaomi.eu) and locked bootloader, except if the custom ROM included a signature that the bootloader could recognize. It is not possible now a custom ROM with a true cts profile, because Google has changed the verification system. Magisk can only half solve the problem.

You can only lock the bootloader while on stock ROM (in your case China Stable)

Where I can find custom Rom with that signature ?

I also have some lagging issues, for example when I open the phone app, it takes a few seconds to open it, as well as the calculator app.

I'm using latest rom on Mi9.

Besides that issue, everything works fine!

Excellent job of all developer's.

Still no new Launcher or Effects for MI9T
If you want them so badly you can download the latest alpha MIUI Launcher from apkmirror, rename it to MiuiHome.apk and then reboot into TWRP. Once you are in TWRP mount System and then using the File Manager go to system_root/system/priv-app/MiuiHome and rename the existing MiuiHome.apk to MiuiHome.apk.bkp and then go all the way back into sdcard and move the MiuiHome.apk from Downloads back into the MiuiHome folder.
When you reboot back you'll have the new gestures but they are kind of buggy, it's the primary reason they removed them and aren't including the alpha launcher in their builds.

They should really exist, but I don't know any. Either give up GPay and some specific apps from the Play Store or you must use the original firmware with a locked bootloader. This is until the developers find an alternative solution to the cts problem.

I'm also using the latest Mi 9 ROM. But I can't see the delays you're talking about. Try a clean flash.

I'm thinking about doing that, also because I have a huge battery drain. On flight mode in 7 hours the battery drops 20%.
Since the first time I install weekly rom from xiaomi.eu, I never do a clean install. It's almost a year since then.

So you can try it. The Mi 9's battery is normally not many good. It is bad with stock firmware too.

Ok, thanks!
But I think I 'll wait till the next release; and then, as I do this time, I'll rest waiting for others opinions\lame, before doin' Experimentations...!! ;-)

Is it told how to fix ctsProfile false? I've tried with different Magisk modules with no success.
Thanks in advance

Hi!

Anyone has their Quick Settings panel locked? I can only see one panel (page 1) and do not have the Edit tile to modify the tiles.
And yes, Safetynet is failed like many others reported too.

I flashed it on my new K20 pro btw

K20 Pro users, how stable is this version for daily use? I used the version with alpha gestures before it was fixed for some time, but considering it was buggy I switched to stable 11.0.5.

Sadly the stable version hasn't been updated for some time and the security patch is from November 2019, so I'm just wondering if I should switch to weekly again.

For me its working ok, in previuos version there was bluetooth disconnection issue . Batt life ok
