I don´t wanna clean install this Update. The encryption issue is also on Orange Fox and TRWP 3.3.0.

Where does the backup of the persistent partition go from the first post?

In China TWRP, Persistent appears as a partition option in the image recovery menu, so I presume that it goes there. Not tried it myself though.

Safetynet is fixed after flashing persist.img.
Honestly I give a **** about high resolution streaming on a 6" device.

Just re-installed Magisk 20.3 on my RN7P (violet) after dirty flashing this latest ROM and ctsProfile is now TRUE !!!

WTF, I thought Magisk was broken for now, so how come CTS is now passing, when it was failing previously?

Has some workaround been applied in this latest ROM ?

I downloaded the China ROM but can't locate persist.img in the zip file. What's the actual name of the persist.img file in the China ROM zip file?

Clearing playstore data worked on my Mi 9t pro.

Tested the infamous McDonald's app,and that works fine.

Something strange is going on.

Now let's install Magisk and test some more

Ok, now rooted and still passes(did rename Magisk Manger tho)
