Hi,

download the new Launcher from 1st march (the error with the space character when typing messages no longer exists) and the new animations are included. URL: MiuiHome.apk
  • rename it on your PC or device in "MiuiHome.apk"
  • copy it to your device if the file is on your PC - as example into download
  • start TWRP or any RootExplorer on your device and mount "System-Partion" as writeable
  • copy the new "MiuiHome.apk" into memory
  • change to directory "/system/priv-app/MiuiHome"
  • rename the old "MiuiHome.apk" to "MiuiHome.apk.bkp"
  • paste the new "MiuiHome.apk" into the folder
  • set the permisson to "644" on the "MiuiHome.apk" file
  • reboot
Now you can use the new launcher with animations and correct space character while typing

Regards Kater

Just install other package installer and then download any apk file and when pop-up package installer choose the new one and no problems. Very easy

you can tell me how it is that on stock kernel the battery drops very quickly.overnight with AoD off the battery drops by 10% for 8h and on a custom kernel only 1-3% at a faster system speed.

Hi,
I have here 2 phones ( Mi Note 3 and Mi 6X ) both updated to EU 20.2.27. I expected to see on both the same info about the android security patch level. But it's not the case. Mi Note 3 reports 2020-01-01 and the 6X says 2020-03-05.
Is that normal ?

Tks
Henning

Beautiful!
I'm enjoying my max 3 more than before after installing this rom version even the the android sec patch says 2019-12-01.
It's okay, I'm positive it will be updated to the latest version as it moves towards the stable.

Mi9, today all my saved Wifi networks are gone !...
there was a notice this morning, that backup could not be done, because of no wifi,
as I wanted to connect I saw, no wifi network is saved anymore

I had this rom but it only gave me problems!
I put the previous rom on my redmi note 7 with orange fox, and it always asks me for password when restarting, I tried to use fastboot and I can't, does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
Thanks!

Yes it's normal, no thanks to Xiaomi for that lol. ^^

it has been discussed here

Yeah. I'm loving it. The developers do their best to deliver roms with the latest features which are stable enough for a daily usage.
So they removed the alpha launcher for safety and stability purposes.
An now some trolls have the idea to replace the stable launcher with a buggy alpha version and are discussion and moaning in the rom thread.
Again, I'm loving it. NOT.

TWRP installed and can be opened with power+volume up button combinations. In spate of this there is no reboot in TWRP recovery offered. What can be the problem?

Thank you for your answer, yes with updater/3 dot method I can reboot to recovery mode. I just got used to do this with power/reboot to recovery (selecting either TWRP or MI) in other ROM versions. I guess this procedure is not possible in this version.

Of course it is. Make sure that Developer Options is enabled and Extended Power Menu is on

The specified security patch level is incorrect!

I have February 2020 but after various tests we only have the security patch from november 2019 !!

Now xiaomi lies to you!
