k20 pro:
This was the worst update for some time. Before this one i had stable 2 days of battery and now it's literally halved! Also whats app stopped giving me notifications of messages. I think there was some new battery saver feature that was enabled on at least whats app and after i disabled the battery saver i have been getting the notifications. Not sure if that's all that was wrong but at least that was a problem. You don't really need whats app if it doesn't give you the notifications when you get the messages so no reason to save battery like that. ...so i lost functionality and half of the time the battery had lasted ...i'm not super happy about that but this is possible on betas.

1. Noticeably increased battery drain (90 to 45 overnight)
2. The time display on the lock screen has a bug where the words are not inverted with the colour of the background (white wallpaper white words)

Hoping for a fix next patch.

* I have set these to 'Ringtone' now to see if this makes a difference.

I had the increased battery consumption in the last build. After format cache and dalvik in recovery mode, everything was fine again.
As for the text on the lockscreen, I can only agree with you.

Thanks for the reply, for some unknow reason I couldn't activate on my Wi-fi, at work everything went fine. I can not access any xiaomi service connected in my house.

then you must check your home wifi router for configs (dns/ ad blockers) setup and local network in case you use repeaters/ range extenders.
also a reboot of that device might help; these home devices need regular maintenance to get them to function properly all time (!) i recommend a weekly scheduled reboot setup, say on Monday 3 AM.

Yes, I had 4G+ on 20.11.18, now I don't. I hope it'll come back, as it is quite useful for me to know if carrier aggregation is active.

Depends on the operator. For some MCC/MNC it's configured to show "4G" even for "4G+" (aka "LTE+" and "4.5G"). That's how Xiaomi designed it for the newer releases of Android 11, you may want to contact them to share your disagreement.

I just downloaded the new version of twrp for the k30 pro, but I already have version 0623 installed, can I update the version using twrp itself or do I need to install a rom stock and completely remove the old twrp in order to install the new twrp? Thanks

Hello everyone,

First of all I wan to thank the developers for their continuous work regarding this builds.

However, in the last build the voice activated assistant (ok google / hey google) is broken. I have a k20 pro with all the updates available.

I've tried to find the problem and it seems to be the missing "select voice input method" in settings (settings/language & input method/voice input method)

I'll attach a couple of screenshots just in case they help.

If anyone knows a workaround, please let me know.

Apps keep closing. Whenever i open Google Maps for eg. It opens for 2s and then closes. I open again, it closes again
