Hey guys I'm currently using a mi 9 with the xiaomi.eu rom. I just bought a mi 10 and was wondering if I can install twrp like on my mi 9. I read there is a issue with twrp on the mi 10 now too. Furthermore I have a question, the mi 10 has a Vodafone rom and is on miui 11. I didn't thought it will be a problem because I always use xiaomi.eu. but now I see this phone is also carrier locked with that Vodafone software. After installing xiaomi.eu, will I be able to use any SIM card ? Right now only Vodafone is working, also I bought a dual SIM slot (in Europe it's single SIM) I know it's working with your firmware, but how is it with that Vodafone lock?
Many many thanks for your answers.
And keep up the amazing work.
When playing around with my new mi 10 and this damn firmware, I realize how much better your rom is
I had also a vodafone branding Mi 10. I unlocked it and flashed recovery and the weekly rom. Works perfect. U can use any sim, i have dual sim, Vodafone and T-mobile.

Many thanks Regarding flashing as always? Because it's written issues with twrp and mi 10?

I am wondering…

some people cant use the search function or they dont read the first page.

But they flash the newest beta version and are spamming the forum without any details and ask questions that already answered.

Here are a lot of users and they will help you.

Please… read the rules, the forum topics and the answers before you post anything, put your question into the right topic. It will use some time, but...

This will help all of us.

In the last time I didnt answer any questions, because they are already answered.

If you dont follow this, perhaps more and more people will not support you.

Dont use any members, respect to Poney70, Lolo and all others, as your search function!

Thank you, kind regards kater

downloading the 20.11.5 update for my k20pro...

im too late because of the f*cking typhoon that hit my place....no electricity and internet for 2 weeks

Same question. If I flash with twrp then don't go to twrp after flash, is it OK?
that's correct. But if you need to install update. Just download it and put your phone in fastboot mode and type fastboot boot twrp.img
With this method you avoid a bootloop
On my lmi this working fine

Thanks mate.
As for the TWRP issues, we have contacted a Chinese TWRP developer and he built working TWRP recoveries for cmi/umi/lmi on Android 11.
As for all recent Android 11 builds, data partition decryption isn't supported, but flashing a ROM and even Magisk with an OTG drive is working perfectly.

20.10.15/22/29 and 30 also can be flashed without problems on mi 10 ..
You can flash also the 20.11.5 without issues ..
The problems starts when you flash/update to latest 20.11.5 , after installation and boot at 20.11.5 rom then you cannot enter to twrp by powermenu , updater or with buttons compo ..
If you accidentally device try to enter twrp then will return to fastboot and the only way to boot again to system is by opening a cmd and boot to twrp .. fastboot boot twrp_umi.img
As soon as device boots to twrp you can choose Reboot system to boot phone..
You must wait a lot of seconds to load twrp , don't worry , just wait until boots..

Try this twrp for umi ..

And i have to say you that if didn't perform a format data at first installation you should do that also ..
Thank you very much, bro

Anyone got a fix for full screen gestures?

Mi 9t pro, gestures don't work with stock launcher or Poco launcher.

Hello, I also have a Mi 9T Pro. The gestures do not work with POCO Launcher and neither with third-party Launcher, but with the System Launcher they work for me. It is a bug that they will surely resolve this week.

Update regarding HMnote8Pro MTK [begonia] support:
- We dropped support for HMnote8Pro MTK [begonia] due to a lot of bricks caused by installing TWRP or Magisk or any other mods.. MTK does not allow to boot to Fastboot if something "goes wrong" and users are forced to flash images via SPFlash Tool EDL mode which is locked by Xiaomi for few authorized accounts only.. so for safety of users, we will not release any ROMs for this device..
PS: We do not recommend buying MTK devices if you want to use our ROMs..

Great - this is the 3.4.2b version. I thought that I was going mad with the previous version (3.4.1b). I kept on flashing it and it just went straight into the TWRP without any decryption, and then not showing any folders at all.

This is assuming that you updated from last week's to this week's ROM.
Did you clear the Dalvik and Cache, and delete the /data/system/packet_cache folder? This can often make quite a difference.
