I just read that Google will prevent Magisk from hiding Bootloader unlock status..(https://www.xda-developers.com/magisk-no-longer-hide-bootloader-unlock-status). So, I don't have to use root, but will it be possible to use eu-rom without Magisk and using apps like Google Pay without problems?
I bought a Mi Note 10 and want to use MIUI dialer, so the only way is to use eu-rom I think!? But I also need a phone with which banking apps and GPay work reliable...
of course.. Magisk was never needed to pass SafetyNet on our roms..

What happend with HMS2 (S2/Y2) 11.0.3 rom? Something was wrong, but will there be a new 11.0.3 version?

Hello all, installed latest stable release on Mi 9 SE (format data performed). App vault/minus one homescreen the MSN News feed shows only Polish news. My region is Switzerland or at least Germany. How to set location for this news feed? Didn't noticed it last time with 11.0.1. Thanks for any help/hint. If there is only a parameter in XML file via TWRP in systems directory no problem for me - but I need to know where to go.

So, I've figured it out by myself. After installation of EU Rom I imported backup generated from Global Rom which obviously contained also App Vault. This was therefore replaced and results in that failure - who knows why that turns out with Polish news feed. Summary: Never take a existing backup when changin Rom.

I have to wait 168 hours now for unlocking bootloader.. Can somebody tell me if VoWiFi is working? Or only VoLTE? (MI Note 10, on EU stock both works..)

My remote does not work on redmi note 7, im at stable rom 11.0.7. fix it please .
Greetings from Argentina

Hi guys can you tell me the difference between orange Fox and twrp recovery? Im would like to install the orange fox one but i havent found much info on net.. someone of you guys had it? How is It?

Redmi Note 7 here...

Situation: I'm currently using the MIUI.11.2 (20.3.26) rooted. It's working completely fine, no issues at all. But I'm in need of reverting back to Android 9, and just wanted to try going back to MIUI 11.0 (stable).
Question: Without formating, can I flash this stable lower ROM version over my existing one, like doing an update process? I just don't want to reinstall all my stuff. I will of course back up all the info from OF recovery. And I assume the device won't be affected by ARB protection, as it was taken out from all the device's ROMs.

Thanks!

Kind regards, thank you for providing an excellent system on our devices. I wanted to inform you that my 8 does not contain a March security patch, it contains the February one.

Hi I'm new to Xiaomi.eu and I've just found this thread. I want to install the rom, but I'm a bit sceptical because of what I heard about miui roms causing problems like bricking..
I know the installation instructions are there, but just to be sure: Do I install it like a normal custom rom? Like can I go and come from it normally like any other custom rom?? Thanks :)

Hi ...

with both tools you can flash custom roms, files etc. Some people prefer to work with twrp others with orangefox

It is up to you what you would prefer ... test it.

Hi ... you can test it. Sometimes it will work sometime not. My experience with a downgrade has shown that various errors occurred.

Make a clean install... and everything should be fine.
