Hello everyone!
I have a 12T Pro (Diting).
I'm in latest xiaomi.eu version (HyperOS 1.0).
Since I have limited PC access right now, how can I eventually update to HyperOS 2 with TWRP?
Is it possible?
What steps should I use?

Just made it on cupid
You need to update the RECOVERY first
Update TWRP
download image file for android 15 on your phone

for safety I removed login data: pin, fingerprint, etc
Open your TWRP, choose install image and select RECOVERY folder ,so install it
Reboot system
Now you can update as you always have

Active visual perception, detect gaze and presence. I have both enabled and does nothing.

This options were working on hyperos 1, it's a known bug? Can I do something about it? Thanks

Extra dim does NOT resolve flicker, thise are two different things.
Also when using extra dim, reading mode turns off and there is excess harmfull blue light

Works perfeclty on my Xiaomi 12, updated this morning.
Google wallet is not a native app on Hyper OS, you must download it from play store (or if you had it already installed and you update without format data, you will find it on your phone)
Just some lag opening notification and control center the first ten minutes after update, then all was good.

Lags in some applications when scrolling. Limitation on increasing the size of desktop icons, I hope in new versions of the launcher they will return as it was. Otherwise, everything is fine, including payment

I finally made the jump from miui 14 and installed Hyper OS 2 on my Xioami 12s Pro.

Everything was great, and then I decided to try the modded HOS2 launcher with custom recent settings.

The result was that the launcher kept crashing when activating full screen gestures (force closes and asks if I want to submit the report)

I uninstalled the module via twrp, after rebooting the device - the default hyper os launcher was no longer functional, and the only way to get back into the device to use any apps was to adb sideload a different launcher (Nova).

I then tried installing the rom again via fastboot and then twrp without wiping data, but for some reason this has not restored the default launcher and it crashes repeatedly.

To get around this in the meantime, I have resorted to using HyperOS Launcher RELEASE-5.39.31.10621-01142144 - 539320621 launcher, but it would be great to know of a way to extract and manually flash the default launcher which comes with HOS2. As the version I have installed via sideload does not feature vault or the Google side screen.

Got a Redmi Note 13 Pro (garnet). I updated to Hyperos 2 and flashed the global firmware to get phone signal.
So far working fine but a problem with the eSIM.

Theres no way to disable it.
Even if it disable it, the phone ask for the eSIM pin again, and the physical slot2 never gets enabled. The system shows the checkbox as if it was disabled tho.

And you're saying this here why exactly? It's not our feature, we neither hide nor unhide it. Try the official Xiaomi Community.

Xiaomi 12 is my daily driver. Haven't noticed any issues.

"Not included" doesn't mean "not working". If you want to use Google Wallet, install it from Play Store.

Really? I did a dirty update, maybe is It that? I'll try a full format next update. I gotta backup a lot of stuffs but I don't mind.

Just to explain, detect gaze active and I have sleep lock screen set at 15 sec. If I'm watching directly at the phone it will just not lock past 15sec mark but if I stop looking the phone locks itself, very useful.

Hello. I have a hyperos 2.0.7.0 stable by Xiaomi.eu- on xiaomi14. ( Not ultra not modell T, not pro). Contactless payment stopped working today. I have used until now the XiaomiEuModule-s, to update always the current ones. Last one is 01.26.2025 - installed. After install still not working the contactless parent. Error is: your phone rooted or some version is not good. Any advise to me? Somebody has maybe the same issue and has a solution? Thx in advance.

This update from 1.0 to 2.0 is horrible on my 12pro. It's often lagging.
I also tried it with an full wipe and clean new installation, ( without reinstalling backup ) but it's not better and my phone gets often hot.
On battery, i see that the "android system" needs much battery, its always on the first place. Thats i think the first time ever that i see there this " android system" that tooks so much battery

The first page in each ROM thread "Installing with TWRP" section gives a link to the common TWRP topic, From there there's a link to go to a collection of available TWRPs. From there, it shows Garnet last had files added June 30th of last year. There's two files. OrangeFox and twrp. The twrp one is for Android 12(HyperOS is Android 15, so decrypt won't work). I don't know anything about OrangeFox.

It's not Xiaomi.eu's responsibility to provide recoveries for us. It's amazing that they give the resources they do to reduce how much hunting we have to do. If the TWRP and OrangeFox provided on the SourceForge page aren't what you are looking for. You'll need to look independently. If you find one that works, notify that TWRP thread so they could get the collection updated. If no one has made a recovery for Android 15 for Garnet, go ahead and create one and notify in the TWRP thread about it's availability.

If none of that works for you, you can always use fastboot update.
