HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

A huge thanks to everyone behind this fantastic project! I updated my Redmi Note 12 4G from version 1.0 to 2.0 with a dirty flash, and the ROM has been performing flawlessly. While it was a bit laggy during the first few hours, everything smoothed out once it settled, and now it’s incredibly fast and smooth. On top of that, I’ve noticed significantly better battery life. Excellent work on this update!
It is not. Everything is very slow.

Xiaomi 14 (houji) problem :
How can I disable the annoying pop-up notification from the flashlight? When the camera light flashes for incoming calls or messages, the pop-up appears every time: "Flashlight is activated!"

Everything is very slow especially in animations on Redmi Note 12 4G.
Switch back to 1.0.8.0 i have it and it's better than 2.0.8.0 especially because magisk modules like for opening apps animation or depth effect in lockscreen doesn't work yet on v2 and because i saw bugs like wifi icon disappears for a moment etc.

Poco f5 pro here, twrp doesn't mount internal storage anymore, can't flash anything. I forgot/don't have a password to decrypt. Changing lock screen change nothing. Someone in same situation? I think twrp doesn't support anymore new encryption?

Do you have the necessary drivers installed?

Did you also install the fastboot driver? Do you have the device connected to your PC in fastboot mode?
If so, check the "device manager" on your PC.

Turn on flashlight, touch and hold notification, set to disable notification.

Anyone on Houji experiencing pour camera app performance?
Especially clicking a couple portraits in a row makes mine almost unusable slow.

It would be great it you guys will fix slow animations please in next release. Even on 8gb ram it really feels slow. Especially in cc with disabled blur effect and advanced texture.
I'd need one of those low-end devices to even investigate that.

@Igor Eisberg

Dude you are just sad if all you do when someone criticises you is you delete your posts where you get it wrong, along with that person's criticism.

Anyways I'm not here to pick an argument, you can delete this and I can just post this again on someone else's account but it's wasting everyone's time.

Just wanted to set the record straight that personally I have no gripe with China and how they want to design their devices. I am actually dualing Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus on the side and used Meizu and Honor in the past too. I see no problem with Xiaomi's OneTrack in that it also serves to track down scammers both regionally and internationally - Xiaomi just happened to be the unfortunate victim because their pricing model attracted a lot more fraudulent activities. I have absolutely zero interest in reporting this to Xiaomi because they are completely within their right to do it. They have enough on their plate for dealing with very much politicised comments made in the EU.

That being said, it doesn't detract from the fact that you made some untrue claims about XEU roms. That is just misinformation. I know you don't mean evil, and don't get me wrong, XEU should absolutely take pride in the effort made to attempt to get rid of most of the trackers, but XEU users also have a right to know what they are dealing with. You can make your point without hyperbolising your statements or insulting/stereotyping others.

Just leaving these here to serve as a reminder and a PSA.

Xiaomi implemented OneTrack and PubSub analytics for defraud and product improvement. XEU roms left these tracing libraries very much intact - but users can optionally replace the XEU apps with the ones from international Xiaomi ROMs if they wish to get rid of the additional tracking behaviours especially in the upcoming months. Not sure what XEU intends to do in newer versions but official MI/EU (non CN/RU) labelled ROMs are safe to use.
