HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

I'm using stable miui 14.0.11, should I upgrade to HyperOS? Let me know your thoughts, will I lose data when upgrading?
For upgrading, that is your decision. I have upgraded to HyperOS with no data lose.

Actually he is not asking you to decide for him. He is asking what are your insights about migrating from MIUI to HyperOS. Like how do you compare, what was your impression, do you find it better, or do you find no difference to make it worth for migrating etc..

I am not very eligible to answer this question because I was using a stable original stock MIUI 14 before upgrading to HyperOS weekly from here. So I can't compare custom MIUI 14 with custom HyperOS. But for HyperOS generally, I like it and find it much better from MIUI. Obviously, MIUI has no future anyway. So I recommend giving HyperOS a try. Although having little problems, if you are generally comfortable with custom ROMs, it is quite worthy. Smoother, lighter, faster, de-bloated.

I am not very eligible to answer this question because I was using a stable original stock MIUI 13 before upgrading to HyperOS weekly from here. So I can't compare custom MIUI 14 with custom HyperOS. But for HyperOS generally, I like it and find it much better from MIUI. Obviously, MIUI has no future anyway. So I recommend giving HyperOS a try. Thank you for the clarification.
For now, to me, Hyper OS is pretty much the same as MIUI. Little better experience but definitely bad battery life. I am getting +/- 24 hours of battery use.

Thank you for your reply, do you also use 12T Pro? Does hyperos have Second Space?
This has been answered before. It does have second space. I am also using 12T Pro and actively using second space. But there is a problem with it. When you first define a finger print special to second space, after some time, that finger starts to unlock the screen on first space. (I.e. it doesn't switch to second space as expected.) You see that finger print is listed with others in first space.

Means that (at least for me), after some time, finger prints stop switching the spaces, it only unlocks the screen and unlocks it to the first space only. I happened to delete that finger I specifically use for second space; now everything is messed up like:

- I can't switch to second space by finger print anymore. (Tough it stopped working before anyway.) No matter what finger I tap, it always falls back to first space. I can switch to second space only by pattern.
- I have a ghost finger print on second space which doesn't list in defined fingers in neither of the spaces BUT STILL is able to unlock, BUT only to first space. The same finger (originally of second space but now) which switches to first space, DOES NOT work on first space. (Means it unlocks and switches to first space when you are on second space; but doesn't unlock the screen if you are already on first space.)
- When I click switch space shortcut when on second space; finger print of first space is denied but only finger print of second space is accepted to switch to the first space. It was vice versa before (which it should be).

Interestingly, when I was using the latest stock MIUI 14, it occasionally switched and unlocked the first space screen with either of the fingers too. I think it is a bug coming originally from Xiaomi. Because when on stock ROM, it sometimes switched the space correctly and sometimes fell back to first space no matter what finger you tapped.

Oh that's strange, I'm on miui 14 eu rom, and I use second space great with fingerprint

Oh, you use HyperOS weekly? Im downloading xiaomi.eu_multi_DITING_OS1.0.2.0.ULFCNXM_os1-14.zip, Not sure if this is a stable version or a weekly version? Sorry, I checked again, it's the stable version - released. Maybe your fingerprint error is in the weekly version?

Installed successfully on Xiaomi 14 Pro. Everything works good so far. Thanks Dec team! Only question is with Google wallet, when adding a card that works with other phone, when connecting to bank it says card is not supported for contacless payments. Is it bank related issue or software related one?
That is because the phone does not pass saftynet or iths not play protected.

First sensations, it will seem slower animation menu speed, with same tweaks from developer options, animation 0.5x, etc.

At least, I don't have to wipe data. It's a good idea to wait, and don't install weekly rom. If install it, wipe data is mandatory.

Hi folks,

I'm on the latest MIUI 14 for Thor and I see that HyperOS stable is out. Does that mean there won't be any more updates for the 14?

I'm reluctant to go with HyperOS v1.0.4.0 since everything is working fine at the moment, but I'm wondering about the future of the MIUI 14 ROM :)

Thanks!

I don't think there will be any updates, Xiaomi won't maintain 2 ROMs for the same device.

Attached are pictures of the applications that remain in English. I would appreciate if you add Turkish translations in the next stable release. Gallery application crashes. This problem also needs to be fixed. I hope a stable version will be released soon. In terms of charging, it seemed like there was less consumption in the MIUI version. It is written in some forums that EliteRom is very good at charging. I hope EURom will do something about this issue.
