New rom is up, enjoy -__-

Now we are supported by MIUI Rom Downloader brought to you by MISH@miuiandroid, so italian language packs would be also accessible from that app, same as mine roms.

Thanks for commiting your time to the users lens_flare, i'm sure they all appreciate it a lot.

Just wanted to say we also try our best to promote your work via twitter and also here. Much love from the team :)

Oo
Liquid, Liquid Mt -metal and liquid MINI are not the same device..
It would be a mess if all that roms will be in one place.
Just let me know what forum areas you need dude, we'll happily accomodate :)

According to your new way to split devices to official and unofficial I just suggest to add new subforum on unnoficial devices subforum: name - "Acer Liquid Mt-Metal". and of course move that thread to it with one week reference on dev subforum.

ok :)

Sorry, seems I've assembled version with old kernel, I'll make an update.zip soon :p
Or maybe no? What battery step do you have?

On new kernel it should be 5% and have all the same as TL like gpu oc. If yes sorry and nevermind.
Maybe some of mine experiments made me think about wrong kernel :p

Ah, ok! I can't see the panel to control voltage and gpu overclock, truely I don't know if it should be or not visibile! :)

EDIT: Already found the answer to my question on your website...!

Hi, I have installed the miui 2.2.24 ROM on my liquid metal. I have a problem because the phone dosen't work: there isn't the signal of the mobile network. I have a vodafone 128K SIM. I tried with another operator SIM (WIND) and the phone worked fine. What I can do to work out this issue?

Thanks!

Hi, at the moment the problem seems unsolved... however try to search on modaco, 'cos you can find a topic regarding your issue..

up. Undervolted kernel will be soon.

Now updater is included. It would be useful to reboot into recovery, and notify you that "it is friday" :D Don't try to "install rom via recovery" it will hang on exclamation sign and won't install anything.

Thanks for the effort for bringing us such a great port!
It's quite perfect except for the low in-call volume.
It's not loud enough even at maximum, could you please take care of this problem?

@Lens_Flare
Thanks a lot to bring this to the liquid metal, my phone was sloppy, sluggy and missing memory always... now it's soft, swift and cool... this porting is a great step on my phone life... was about to maybe change for a new one... but now... it's really satisfying.
Another thing is the A2SD works very good on the 2.3.2, just need to use 2 small apps from market after creating the SD-EXT partition ext3 with Clockwork 4, A2SDgui and Link2SD, I get like used memory 38MB and that a real big deal and big satisfaction.

Ps : Could you PM me how to modify the systemui.apk when I use APKtool the XML are gibberish... maybe I do something wrong... thanks for any help you could give

maybe it's your capacity of hearing things... kidding, on mine the sound is good not too low... so far.

In addition, I'm using A2SD script now and it's quite satisfactory, except not showing the correct total capacity inside application management. It's not a important issue though.

I found the volume quite good most of the case, but really too low when talking to some specific people. It's ok when using stock GB and CM7 when talking to them, as their maximum in-call volume is louder and I could just set it to half when talking to others.

My opinion is increasing the maximum in-call volume in order to make it more flexible when talking at different environment / different people.

Hello,
Firstly thank you to @Lens_Flare for porting this ROM on "Acer Liquid Metal"
I confirm, the sound is much too low for calls. Would it be possible to change it for the next ROM?

Sorry for my bad English. I'm French.
