Now that i'm able to unlock bootloader and ready to go EU instead Global i wonder what "bonus" would i win!
Some one that was Global before and now EU can confirm if battery gets better? Face recognition working? Any bug to be aware of?

9.2.21 is ultrafast on my Mi5s but there is one big problem - where is the wifi band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) selector?? It is very important feature to configure network devices, that if you don't bring it back, I'll have to downgrade Since when the selector was removed?

Do a search on 5GHz WiFi in the forum, plenty of discussions on this topic in the past 3-4 months.

Xiaomi has made changes due to EU usage changes on 5GHz band.

Dirty flashed Mix 3 and all is working fine except:

1. Not able to send/receive MMS (this was a problem on 9.2.15 too)
2. Can't open A-GPS settings

Has anyone tried if magisk 18 is working on Mix 3 now?

Another issue:

Screen doesn't turn off while holding the phone to my ear during calls (option turned on in call settings)

Yep, wipe data and flash this rom. After that you can dirty flash any following rom. If major changes are in any new rom I would do a clean flash.

I do not confirm. The camera is ok. You have probably turned on the camera2api and this is a side effect if you do not use camera2api with the fix on the front camera.
