If you have to delay the update, delay it but don't deliver a mess (why don't you give yourself a week to check every phone, or at least the ones most people have, delay the updates week), and also, put an end to the ok Google problem please

Alright hold on.

Frankly, The .EU team is doing a great job for that many devides they support. There's a bug here and there, but most WEEKLY builds are rock solid.

Usually, If you really want not to have issues, you can always refer yourself to the STABLE version. That's what it's meant for.

Conceptually, I don't think you quite grasped the idea of this build. This is the bleeding edge. It is released weekly. Issues can and will occur. They're mostly quick to patch things up, but issues will still be there sometimes.

Kindly remember that, we're basically the ones doing the "check for the week" you suggested. They release the build very fast and most of the time spotless, but there can be rough edges.

You can't really put the burden of having a bug onto them, though. Many bugs are coming from the Chinese source, like last-last week's Android Auto issue and the Ok-Google issue you mentioned. They can only work with what they have.

On that matter, you wouldn't believe how fast they merge their changes and mods on top of a recently released build. Like I said, they really rely on us to report bugs, which luckily many on that forum actually does.

Use the stable if you don't want issues. It's there for a reason. But if you want the latest, shiniest, please report your issue without whining.

Hello, you never lose your data when you install Magisk. It's only when you unlock/relock the phone's bootloader.

Hey! Is there anyway to install xiaomi.eu rom 9-11-21 with keeping encryption?

After wiping data and installing the zip via recovery, the system is not encrypted.
I tried enabling encryption from the system settings but it asks for my device pin and then does nothing.

Is this normal? Thanks for this awesome rom anyway!

Still seeing this problem: Fingerprint unlock is disabled by admin. Except it's not, but it is being blocked on Chinese, EU and Global on MIUI 11. It works on my pixel 2xl and is not disabled in settings in the AirWatch admin console, which I have access to.

I had to flash back 9.11.14 too but just because it was automatically making a log and consuming storage space. All the other functions work though.

I cannot we must use AirWatch. It creates an encrypted work profile. You cannot add through exchange/outlook and mist use the AirWatch boxer app.

My other phone is the Redmi Note 5 Pro and the GPS fixes faster, more accurately and indoors.

I found out how to start/stop the modem log capture that keeps filling up the diag_logs folder in internal storage.

Go to Settings-My Device-All Specs. Tap 5 times on Kernel version and CIT menu will open. Tap on the 3 dots at the upper right corner. Tap Additional tools. Tap MODEM test tools. Tap on Open/Close Offline Log to start or stop the log.

I flashed EU but checked and changed fstab in vendor before booting. For me it wasn't "fileencryption=ice,quota". When I tried to run EU without changing fstab before I had bootloop.

Could you do me/us a favour and post your fstab file here? I'm quite interested in what your encryption settings say. Thanks a million!!!

No issue with GPS fix for me.. It's instantly fixed..

How did you get volte icon? Volte works for me because I can see 'volte' on my calls list and when calling I see HD logo in calls. But I've not been able to see volte icon on the notification bar on the right top in any mi 9 xiaomi.eu beta release with miui 11.
