This morning bluetooth was still ok after being in airplane mode overnight.
 
Anyone with problems with the music app? When I turn my screen off, after a while the music just stops.
This happens on a mi6

Please read first Post! All information given.
Whyred is the codename for redmi note 5.
Twrp is also linked in first post. You could also type twrp.me and model whyred. Latest twrp should be 3.2.2.0

Disable battery optimisations in security app.
Lock the app in the recently view, so that miui doesnt close it in the background.

Unfortunately is not very clear what version is the right one for Redmi Note 5, they could be the two that you can see here in yellow, I don't really know!

One is for pro and the other isn't?
It says it there mentions dual camera too?

Ok, first one is for redmi 5 which is redmi note 5 for indian market only, code named "vince"; the second one is for redmi note 5 all markets, except for indian market where it's called redmi note 5 pro, anyway the code name is "whyred". Now: which one you own?

4G/TD-LTE 1900/2100/2300/2500/2600MHz (B39/B34/B40/B41/B38)

according to RTR

  • das 800-MHz-Band für LTE (A1 TA 20 MHz auf Kanal [EARFCN_dl] 6250 und T-Mobile 10 MHz auf Kanal 6400),

that means gsm 900mhz and 1800mhz and that can be max 3 or am I wrong?

Hello guys, I have the version 8.8.16 installed on my MI 8 SE, I want to install this version via updater but when I click install it reboots the smartphone but doesnt install the update. Can somebody help me please?

Okay, thank you for your answer!

Still a little bit weird, as it says EU team use RU localization from global ROM, yet those parts were perfectly translated there.

P.S. maybe it is possible for you to provide any links for guides on how to translate this ROM? I may be able to contribute if it's not too complex and advanced for me, as I'm not a software dev.
 
Is anyone else having issues with proximity sensor on Mi Mix2S? When I am done with a call I have to reset it to factory defaults and delete all the screenshots I made. (It stays on and is operated by my ear...)
It makes the phone basically useless for calls.
