Location history settings are missing from this rom too, i have a Mi Mix 2S, but on the same rom version in Mi Mix 2 it's working fine. Any solutions please?

Yes it's sad, I found some workarounds but I'm not so skilled to even test them.

yes. when i receive 1 whatsapp message, the counter dislays 2 messages. no double icon only double number counter.

To start with: Many thanks to the whole team and Ingbrzy in special. A lot of work had been done. And with great result.
My Redmi Note4x installed flawless and works great.
Just a pitty that Xiaomi didn't provide Android 8 for this phone. But we can not blame MarkHuk, Ingbrzy or the team, we will learn to live with it.
Hope you will keep the good work going.

This bug is not a bug, we can live with that. Phone work. Official developers from China roms, have more important bugs to fix etc..

Try clearing Data & Cache for the app.

We don't have a solution for you. It's a China ROM issue. Google Play Services is highly obfuscated so we can't investigate this efficiently.

In China works fine all notification in home screen and lock screen, from sms/mms, call,missed calls, facebook, messneger, whatsapp.Notification from toogle and floating too.
We do not have to do anything. Possibly we can clear all data app, uninstall, restart phone, install again app.
Maybe in Xiaomi.eu help to. On China we not set anyting to work notification.
Xiaomi.eu for Max i try soon, i wait for more information from users.

I flashed 8.7.12 over 8.6.28 with dalvik and cache wipe only.

The ui keeps crashing on lock screen and entering the pattern freezes display.

After few seconds again lock screen restarts and repeats.

I have flashed 8.6.28 again and now it's working.

Seems something wrong with update.

Device is mi6.

I've tried this. It won't boot. In twrp You have to format device. So You lose your data.
