No any error log at you during installation so all okay in your screenshot.

But regarding your sensors issue make a clean install by following below steps in this order:

1. Install official TWRP recovery 3.2.1-1 (if you already have it then skip this step)
2. Boot to TWRP recovery (and stay in recovery mode until step 8)
3. Wipe > Advanced Wipe: Wipe -Dalvik/ART Cache, -Cache, -System, -Data, -Internal Storage
4. Wipe: Format Data
5. Reboot to TWRP recovery
6. Copy latest Oreo rom.zip from PC to internal storage
7. Install rom.zip
8. Reboot to system

It results in perfectly clean installation, will not remain any leftover from previous system.

I just checked aida64 and see that all 4 of the cores are running even when everything is closed and cache cleaned.

Anyone an idea why this is.. normally i have 2 of the cores running, even when im opening a lot of apps. im running on the stable 9.5.1

Hi! Yesterday I did a factory resert with twrp and installed miui 9.6 8.4.4 It works ok, but I have problems opening the "contacts and dialer"-app ... I have tried rebooting the phone and deleting cache and data in the app, but it still won't open. Have anyone experienced it before and knows how to fix it? Or do I need to install the rom/ factory reset again?

One other thing... Would it be possible to add a feature that would make it easier to rotate pictures and that would not make a new copy of the file? I know that you can rotate it with two fingers, but it would be fantastic if it was permeant!

I have to say this about 9.5.1 stable.

The battery performance are tremendous good on the Mi5. Great work!

I have tried the oreo but still some bugs of course dont mind that its still a beta, hopefully in a couple of months the stable version.
Anyway great work on the battery!

After initially having some issues with the dirty flashing this rom on my MI 6, I did a factory wipe, to my amazement everything is working 100 %, most importantly battery life, for the first time ever since I bought this phone the battery drain have stopped, to be honest I did not think I would live to see this day as I gave up completely and was about to bin the phone.

with this 8.4.4, my battery drain overnight is 2% with GPS, Bluetooth wifi on, before the best I ever managed was 35%.

A big big big thank you for finally fixing the battery drain. cheers

The Facebook app crash might be from the actual app and not the ROM, as I have IT on Stable 9.5.1 and on developer 8.4.4
