1) The SoC is not the only deciding factor whether a device supports fast charging or not.
2) We do not possess the source code for Xiaomi's kernels, so what we are able to do is limited by that fact.

How can i go back to the .23 one? To the earlier one. Just update with recovery in the settings and select it?

Probable Bug:

Redmi 4X santoni here.

After clean install I am asked to confirm my xiaomi password. Device needs to be online for that.

When enabling WiFi it displays the box to type in WiFi password but no keyboard shows.

Use hotspot of another phone n remove password

My complaint this time is that I can't adjust the display scale and font size separately.
But Ok Google works again now on my Mi 8 so yayyy!!!

Does encryption work on this ROM? Device is MI 8. I have tried encryption in an AOSP ROM and TWRP supports it.

If I encrypt the device, would it boot? I tried encryption few weeks back and it didn't boot as I had to format data to boot again. That was the previous TWRP version. My current TWRP is TWRP-3.2.3-1110-XIAOMI8-EN-wzsx150 (encryption works with this version on an AOSP ROM).

Yes I used that workaround.

Seems a silly, yet serious issue though. It didn't let me use mobile to connect either. No internet, no successful install.
 
For one who request about kernel modify, mod, etc...
Go back to Home page of forum, look at the top-left corner and read the sub title

This is pure MIUI, very PURE and I like it
If you want other stuff like kernel mod, function mod, use another one

Hi ... you can roll back to the previous version with twrp. Just install the older version.zip

Do you have further questions, please give us more details.

In order for it to work I had to efit fstab.qcom on my MI6.
Otherwise it was getting stuck and not finishing.
You need to change encryptable=ice to fileencryption=ice.
Save it and copy the new file over to system/vendor/etc
If you don't do it, you will be stuck...

Type WiFi password in place for Phone password . Copy it and paste it for WiFi. Password must be visible to copy

Did you click into the box where you have to enter the password ? Perhaps try as a workaround a different language.

I can. Though I noticed that the process to add and use a fingerprint is not always fast and accurate...

No. I have made some rolebacks before in my Mix 2s and no wipe was needed.

Note:no wipe is needed if you roleback to last week rom. More than than could and probably will delete your data.
 
3 small bugs:
1) i'm using rhodium theme: the symbol "vibra" is black, while all other items (date, signal,...) is white.
2) keyboard: back-button in the upper left doesn't work when trying to add words to custom dictionary.
3) teslaunread doesn't work with nova launcher?

one question to nova launcher and google widget: i read, that it should work now to use google search from desktop. on my mi6, the persistent google bar was linked to miui-search.

My device is Mi Note 3 (Jason), I'm encountering same battery drain issue like you.

I keep hearing a tone sound, it happens randomly, sometimes it sounds when I unlock the phone, or right after I send WhatsApp msg and put down my phone ( still screen on).. I'm not sure is it warning tone of battery drain.. And I started seeing this issue since last weekly release (8.11.22) and hearing the tone.. Did it happen to you?

I wipe cache and dalvik every time I flash weekly ROM.
