Hi!
After flashed the @Soebianto mod on my Note 4X, i decompiled MiuiSystemUI.apk and replaced charger sounds with empty audio files.
I'll upload my MiuiSystemUI.apk. To make it work, just put it under /system/priv-app/MiuiSystemUI/, remove the original MiuiSystemUI.apk and set rw-r-r permissions.
WARNING: THIS FILE IS ONLY FOR NOTE 4X WITH 8.1.18 WITH @Soebianto MOD!!! PLEASE DON'T TRY TO INSTALL USING APK INSTALLER!!!

I have no problem with the charger sound on my HM4X in silence mode after flashing global UI mode.

It will update through OTA only if version installed is 7.12.14

After flashing the ROM with my Redmi 4 Prime (markw), I noticed that the charging speed is really really slow... Hope you can check on this one... By the way, is it possible for me to revert/downgrade back to the previous ROM prior to this? Kindly advise... Thanks :)

Just flashed this onto my Mi 5s and so far it works perfectly. Thank you so much, am loving my new notification shade!

Will it be possible to use this zip on future weekly roms or it is particular to 8.1.18?

Hi,

I made a clean install of this ROM on a Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon (mido) and noticed that even though the SD card is mounted and visible in the Mi file manager and in FX file explorer I have issues in VLC and Gallery for example: the Gallery says there is no photo or video on the phone (SD card has 1000+ photos and videos..) and VLC does not even show the SD card in the browser. Every permission has been given to every app on the phone already. Did anybody experienced the same issue? Is there any solution? Thank you!

AdAway 3.2 is outdated, it has nothing to do with Magisk. I provided you a link to AdAway 3.3 which works properly with Magisk 15.

With Magisk 14.. I can freeze or selective freeze of system apps… but in Magisk 15 I cannot do this…

Can I ask… if I use files for global 8.1.18… for next update ; it will work? Or I have to use fresh files for same version to work..
 
Still waiting for the Eu rom 9.2.4.0 stable for Redmi 4 Pro Markw to upload...

It might work, but you won't get any changes (new features, bug fix, etc) on new weekly roms, on the other hand, if new weekly roms introduce some new bugs, you won't have these bugs..

There is a solution for slow charging speed on 2nd post, try it.
