MI6 Oreo Installation
- download 3.2.1.0 TWRP
- put the image to your phone (SDcard or downloads)
- boot Mi6 to Twrp, choose Install, Install Image, Choose twrp.img and install
- reboot
- put 8.1.18.zip to your phone, start updater, choose install from sd card
- choose 8.1.18.zip and click ok
- In case of apps FC, make Factory reset

MIMIX2 Oreo Installation
- download 3.2.1.0 TWRP (unpack zip)
- put the image to your phone (SDcard or downloads)
- boot MiMIX2 to Twrp, choose Install, Install Image, Choose twrp.img and install
- reboot
- put 8.1.18.zip to your phone, start updater, choose install from sd card
- choose 8.1.18.zip and click ok
- In case of apps FC, make Factory reset

After Update to 8.1.18 from 8.1.11 launcher is hanging nearlx every wake up.
Factory reset or is there any other possibility?

Not easy to uninstall system apps.

I would suggest you ignore it and try other scanner apps - Camscanner is generally considered very good, I personally like Microsofts Office Lens.

Just to let you know and people who have problem with Scanner app on 8.1.18, just installed 8.1.18 myself and the Scanner app FC.

Installed 10.0.8 from : https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/xiaomi-inc/miui-qr-scanner-plus/miui-qr-scanner-plus-10-0-8-release/ and the Scanner app is ok now, no FC, I didn't even clear data of the Scanner app.

Without proof, your message is just a message without any real helpful info. Also, your battery could also be bad due to apps you have installed on your phone. I've been having pretty good battery on this build and muy standby drain has also improved. Are you rooted? If so, you might try uninstalling some of the miui apps and a few others. You can find tons of resources on XDA in terms of both how to root and what apps to delete.

I'd honestly suggest a clean wipe. I just installed the update on my mi6 with a clean wipe and everything was great. My GFs mi 5s however, seemed laggy after installing over a previous build. But it was better smooth after a wipe and reflash.

Interesting, the double and disappear notification bug on Whatsapp seems to be fixed in Mi Max 2 on xiaomi.eu 8.1.18.

I've been trying notification on Whatsapp for a few moments now, tried multiple messages from 1 person to multiple msgs from 5 parties (4 person & 1 group), no double and disappering notification bug.

Nice surprise, I wasn't expecting this, was just trying to get Jan 2018 security patch and scroll screenshoot to works.

But now we can be sure Xiaomi Developers are actually working on this bug, maybe next week this bug will be fixed on all devices.

Mi mix 2 quick charge problem on usb3 wire (charging only 300Ma on ampere) , was working before.
When I connect cable that come with phone (usb 2.0 I assume) ampere gives +3000Ma.
Tested with Nillkin elite cables (usb 3.0 blue connector) , I have two of them and they worked before.
Tested 3 different qc 3.0 chargers usb 2.0 stock cable works +3000Ma, usb 3.0 does not work.
Edit. Android versions are wrong at firts post Mi6 and Mi mix2 ,I think. Should be 8.0
