For Redmi 4 Prime/Pro are you going to keep android version to 6? It's the same phone as Note 4/4X SD version, so why only android 6?

I am using this ROM from yesterday on my Redmi 3 Pro (IDO). I haven't noticed any serious problems.
Just 2 small issues:
1. When I try to apply some of the new themes, I get an error: "Themes from third-party sources are not supported".
2. In MIUI 9 the icons are smaller, compared to my previous MIUI 8 ROM.

Ask Xiaomi that question, the EU devs here use the official roms as a base, so if xiaomi release with 6.0 that's all they can provide.

as said: Have severe Problems with weekly version 7.9.7 which I got installed at my Redmi Note 2 Prime yesterday OTA!
Find Device always crashes, error is: "unable to create application com.xiaomi.finddevice.Application"

Any idea how to get this fixed before new version arrives?

Another question: Have the names of the new ROM versions been changed? Cannot find any Hermes-variants any more for Redmi Note 2/Prime!
Which variant should I download from 7.9.8 or earlier?

Hi everybody, i want to install the new Rom on my mi4 (cancro). Now i have the rom 7.14.6, to install this One i have to do as usual? just download it and install it from the updater tool?

7.14.6 ?? 1 year = 12 months only

Anyway download update manually and install it via TWRP recovery first...

Hi, I'm using Mi 5s, and I failed to change the back and menu key by modifying the file mentioned in previous posts. However, the mod in xda for los did work for me: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5s/development/mod-swap-buttons-xiaomi-mi-5s-t3561095
I also made a magisk version (maybe someone has done this, but i just upload it anyway). Rename the file and delete .apk will work.
It works on Mi globe, but I think Mi globe is identical in this part

Hello guys

I own Mi5s phone and have installed 7.6.29 version.

Since I've bought the phone I am struggling with same problem as mentioned here: en.miui.com/thread-593116-1-1.html (sorry, I couldn't post link as I am new here. )

I've tried several miui version with no luck.

Is it fixed on MIUI 9? Or can you give me any advice?

If not, how often do android patches come?
Do you guys patch android yourself or do you solely rely on xiaomi china rom updates?
With "android" I mean like the underlaying linux kernel and stuff like security patches.
