Today xiaomi released global beta only for 32 GB model, ignoring 16gb and 128 gb model

I got tired and decided to move to EU Rom.

Is this 7.8.24 based on china beta or global beta?

Also could anyone explain me what to do? I have phone unlocked and on 8.5.1.0

Hi,
You need to flash TWRP first and than this ROM which is based on Chinese beta.
Of course do backup first.

It is working for you too, just configure Recents button to show recents app tray. As you can see here:

FYI; If you are not content with file explorer which can not handle relatively big archives, you can

1. Install a rom that you are content with its file explorer
2. Extract it from system/app/file explorer/file explorer. APK
3. Install desired rom
4. Write over APK with the one extracted

Voila

Though I still couldn't find a solution for file explorer's default opening tab (recent) . Any help would be appreciated.

I found out the problem of Mi Remote, in Italian Language there is only the Mi TV box for Mi Remote, by changing the language to English, the other boxes will appear.

Make a nandroid and update without wipes.
