Hi
With my Redmi 4X, no way to charge until 100%.
It goes fast to 80/85%, but stops charging at 88/89, maybe 90%
EDIT: looks like a bug of viewing, it says 96% in twrp when it's only 85% in UI.
Second (newbie) question : I downloaded OTA update, but don't know which app to use to install it... When I click on "install", it asks me to choose an app to install.
And as I can't find the files in the Download repository, I'm kinda lost...

File Explorer. Then select zip file and reboot in recovery to flashHi

Not charging fully was confirmed as a bug from 7.7.20
I can vouch this and also some users in MIUI FORUM Redmi 4x
Technically speaking the phone itself recognized the battery capacity but not the UI , that's you are getting 96/95 full charged state
Because i got same performance even if my phone got fully charged at 96/94
First of all, I really appreciate your hard work and love how stable and smooth this ROM is.
About the new soundpanel, I don't see this on my Mi6...do I have to enable this or is it coming in one of the next weeklies?

No new sound panel for Mi5.
Do you mean this? Mi6 and RN4SD got it only so far

Yes, I`ve already posted about this some 12 pages back, probably a minor bug in this first MIUI9 release for Mi5. As it`s not interfering with carousel`s functionality I would wait for the next release to see if it get fixed
