even after i did
"TWRP activation.
Wipe cache, dalvik cache.
Install 7.6.29 rom.
Wipe dalvik cache.
Reboot."

GPS works very well in my mi5 in this rom and the previous

xiaomi.eu 7.7.6 (android 7.1.2) works even faster after short time of usage. And also auto-brightness is quite ok.

2. Download first in pc and then copy to the phone memory or
3. If you copy from pc download direct in the phone
