No! The Firmware zips are not signed.
If you are Worried about the integrity of the zip file, you can download it to your PC and do the MD5 verification, then you can install it by sideload.

Hi,

I noticed something. When using the wallpaper carrousel, in this miui version, the carrousel button on lockscreen for liking and changing the wallpaper is not there anymore. I switched from 7.5 v8 to this version and it was there before.

Even checked the settings but although the carrousel function is enabled there is no such button on lock screen.

Can someone help?

Official MIUI change that was implemented 2 month before. If you just noticed it then you didn't use that function quite often

Where is the changelog, is NFC fixed in the stable release?
If I change from the dev/weekly to this stable build, do I need to wipe the data (because it's another type of rom)?
Is it possible to backup the first space and second space all together or can Miui only backup the first space?

I hope you can answer these questions (and / or my former question) before I make the change.

Yes your bootloader will be re-locked...You need to be on 6.12.22 5.1.1 before you upgrade...after upgrading unlock bootloader via official method and install TWRP Libra 7....
P.S. why not wait until Miui 9 is released later this month ?

Your BOOTLOADER will be relocked after upgrade from Android 5.1 to Android 7.0 MI4C, Mi4S, MINote PRO so unlock it by en.miui.com/unlock after ROM installation again!!!

By the way, sorry but I dont understand, if i do this procedure, everytime i will install a new rom i will get locked? or is it just one-time because of upgrading between android 5 and 7?
I can wait for miui 9, but it will be the same procedure, no?

I already have TWRP on my phone, is it different than twrp libra 7?

Using this ROM on my Redmi Note 4X (mido). I live in India and I am having problems finding my set top box on the Mi Remote app. I tried uninstalling the app and installing from play store and also using different versions (which had worked for me) but no success. This problem is not there in the global MIUI ROM from miui.com or any other custom ROMs. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
