This is intresting, when I pressed on the 3 ... and restarted in the recovery mode, all I got was a pic of a mobile and the text for pcsuite.mi.com
After that it restarted by itself after 1 min
What can I do?

Seems like we are end of life (eol) users. THEY SAID: Mtk doesn't have a long support. ALTHOUGH MTK RELEASED NEARLY ALL OF THEIR CHIPSET FRAMEWORK SOURCE CODE AND SUPPORT in order for manufacturer to update devices to Nougat. It is to blame for Xiaomi itself! Gave birth alot and forgot a lot

No, for me with mi5 everything is ok. Just with instagram app some lag, but i don't use it so much, so it's not a really problem.

Yep, i can extract a zip file i've Just tried. download a YouTube file i don't know cause i don't have any app usefull to do it

Why is Redmi 2 EOL when it's still listed on original site as supported? It only says for global ROM that it's suspended (I assume temporarely), but China version is there, at least for HM2XWC (can't find XTD version, though). Or is it that European "developers" decided to cut it off?

Doubt we're even close to EOL but it's definitely worrying when updates start being delayed. This phone is not even a year old lol

They xiaomi.eu are the one who cut it off.
They cut ours too. Note 4 mtk is being distinguished
