Battery drain in mi4c...ridiculous

Inviato dal mio Mi-4c utilizzando Tapatalk
Battery drain so fast that drain attached to power supply too....no twrp in mi4c, need to unlock bootloader, need to wait xiaomi sms and so no more chance to to wipe cache and dalvik to try to resolve the problem....

Battery drained on Mi Max PRO as well, but it is now charging and hopefully it will be ok after first cycle.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Did you have issues with your battery with 5.1?? My sister have a lot of problems with her battery on her Mi4C, we bought a new battery and the problems doesn't fixed... how is the battery with 7.0??

Thanks!
I just istall the update and i highly recomend you waiting next update because battery drain so fast than Android 5.1 and i havent seen any new in this update.

What about the Mi5 GPS reception and battery?
Came back to stable and I'm not planning to install Nougat anywhere soon with these issues.

Usually is required ROM China
Then why install instruction says "Unlock bootloader after installing ROM". Or it's instruction exactly for China, not for this EU? I'm so confused right now. Don't want to use locked device even without twrp.

Hi!

7.2.9 Installed and running correctly on my Mi4C.
Unlocked bootloader perfectly after flashing 7.2.9
At the beginning the phone was very slow (no FC appeared), but few minutes later everything was ok.
Still not smooth enought to me, I'll keep an eye on it to see if performance improves.

It's my first post and need to say thanks to all the team here at xiaomi.eu, you do an awesome job!
regards!

Have you start phone in fastboot mode (shutdown, than press volume down+power button, wait before bunny with fastboot text is shown)?
And of course - did your computer recognise your phone? Maybe problems with windows drivers...
Of course i am on fastboot mode and phone is recognized, error is as you can see on screenshot. quote: Current account is different from the account info on the device

It is possible with mi4c to come back to 6.12.22 even if twrp is removed after update and I'm waiting the unlock procedure from xiaomi?
How?

Phone is unusable with battery that drain attached to charger too.

Battery drain on mi4c is terrible and i am stuck on this rom until xiaomi will allow me to unlock my bootloader. Damn -.-

Hi all.
Glad to know there is still people updating this.
Since I upgraded from Mi3 to Galaxy S7, my knowledge of flashing Xiaomi devices is bit outdated because there are new options, new things.

I bought Mi5 (3 GB/32 GB) recently, and it came with V8.1.2.0.MAAMIDI (Global Stable) which I updated to V8.1.4.0.MAAMIDI (MIUI8) that's currently on my phone.
I realised that I need to unlock bootloader first which I got permission to do so and I'm about to do it.
I want to flash EU Multi Stable for Mi5 [GEMINI] but seems I don't know how.
How to get TWRP properly so I could flash .zips normally?!

Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards, Ivan.
Cheers.

RELESED Android 7.0 for MI4C, Mi4S, MIMAX, MIMAX PRO, MINote PRO
Your BOOTLOADER will be relocked after upgrade to Android 7.0 so unlock it by en.miui.com/unlock after ROM installation again!!!

How to upgrade to Andoid 7.0:
Install MIUI 6.12.22 before updating to Android 7.0..
Select zip in Updater - menu - select zip
In case of issues, wipe /data in TWRP
Unlock your bootloader again (check your bootloader status by command "fastboot oem device-info")

On the official website they suspended ROM 7.2.9 for MI4C and MI4S. In this case as a precaution it is better to wait or we can proceed with the installation of ROM .eu

http://en.miui.com/thread-500488-1-1.html

" Update at 16:00, Feb. 10: 1) MIUI 8 China Developer ROM 7.2.9 for Mi 4c and Mi 4S suspended for now. We've got some user reports that Mi 4c and Mi 4S might be stuck at the pattern lock interface.
2) Update for Mi Note Pro suspended for now due to bugs (stuck at Mi logo).
MIUI developers are checking the above issues now. Sorry for the inconvenience. "

Guys, con you tell me if buttons work in 3-button headsets for you? Vol + and - are not working for me since I upgraded from KitKat to Lollipop (Redmi 2 Prime).

If someone got battery drain on update, it will be good to go in TWRP and format System/Cache partitions and flash rom manually again. Works on Redmi Pro. Unlocked BL

I think it's what i am going to do but i have concern about being able to update later to new xiaomi.eu. I read unlocking request is possible just one time for month. It's correct?
@ingbrzy In the future there will be xiaomi.eu upgrade rom from 5.1 to 7.0 that won't request to lock/unlock bootloader?

For the feedback I see on MI4C, I guess I will stay with AICP Rom 7.1.1 for a long time! :D
