If you mean the emergency broadcast setting, it was a frozen sys app on our Redmi 3s. I defrosted it & it's now working. Dunno if it's the same on the Mi5 but worth a check.

I can confirm the battery is draining quickly, I can forgive it, but the alarm clock spontaneously change time twice and don't wake me up.

I use My Android Tools app (you need to be rooted) - go to Apps/Disabled and re-enable it.

I do believe you can also use titanium backup to defrost/unfreeze apps

I go flash other radio to test...

Edit: I install that modem with TWRP, everiything seems ok. I'll charge the phone charge the phone and see...

Did you change the DPI? Setting it below 380 does that for me on a Mi Max 2.

That was my initial suspicion but the issue persists in default DPI.

My device is still in chinese and only partially patched to english...but i want to add the google play store and other apps through the playstore.

Or probably do you guys already work on a rom for the laser projector?

I was reading on internet about this, and it seems it's a problem with miui 9...

The only solution I've found is connecting to a Chinese VPN, but without installing any third-party app, as described in this post:

After activation you can safely disconnect from the VPN.

I'm on MI5 with xiaomi.eu weekly 7.11.23 and I'd like to switch to the stable branch, but I'm not happy with wiping data partition...
I've noticed that xiaomi.eu stable 9.1.4 is out for MI5 and it's dated 2017/12/14 (today).
Anyone knows if it's newer then 7.11.23?
Can I try to dirty flash it (no wipe data)?
