ROMs for devices with locked bootloader:
  • Unlock your first bootloader herehttp://en.miui.com/unlock/
  • Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
  • Code:
    fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
    fastboot boot twrp.img
In the first post,, the admin can put some details for using twrp properly and which settings of twrp to use..
And some little info for updating the zip file....
And then it can be posted in every weekly rom release thread.
That's what I wanted to say...
This will make things easier for many people

I noticed that turning on DND (do not disturb), won't make a sound when locking screen.

Or the admin can post a full guide somewhere else in forum and give the link in first post of weekly rom thread.

I doubt as i said, all of fundamental things are explained in official miui forums(this isn't official one). In main post is about informations about new roms and crucial informations where to go to follow a steps or to download other important things then roms.
This thread isn't official miui rom thread, it's made for testing weekly and sometimes stable builds, reporting bugs and issues.
Testing expect that person know allready fundamental things. Sorry it's like that.
I'm not admin it's just my opinion.

TWRP does not work with Mi5 Pro

If I restart the device w/ volume up and power

You just see a Xiaomi device with loading cable on the display

Have you got any solution ???

About crashing, clear cache and dalvik in twrp, reboot and check.
Still issue, then change language to english and reboot.
If it only issue when you have other language then english, report back and state which language have issue.

Notification light already enabled before...but not work yet
about crash, still exist, even wiped data and cache and dont restore any backup about setting and usually use english language
(i guess as long as updatet to weekly sine 1month ago, these problem generated)

Confirmed, but even so there is sound when unlocking the screen in DND mode. So it's bug because same behavior should be for both locking and unlocking the screen in DND.

Since 3-4 versions of MIUI 8, when I swipe left for camera in lockscreen, I don't have the camera preview

What better ROM for battery consumption redmi note 3 pro? I saw a forum user speaking that 7.1.6.0 is good in this regard . But I could not find the link of the ROM. I am currently with 7.5.1.0 xiaomi.eu and all I can do no more than 8 hours of screen.

What launcher you use?
Does camera works?

Change language to english, reboot and test again.
Try to remove camera shortcut from lockscreen and reboot and put back.

Sot 8 hours could be very good if you use xiaomi services, have alot of background activities while screen is off etc.
7.1.6 version is old rom, if there isn't to download that means it wasn't made for your device.

Strange thing today - in notification panel appeared (uc) browser icon with text "test"... On click nothing happend just dissapered.
Anyone had this?

1. That means Mi5 gets special updates managed separately from other devices. So, common weekly changelogs are not affect to Mi5 devices. There is no separated changelog for Mi5 as there is no officially.

2. Linked MIUI8 v.8.0.10 is stable release for Mi5

3. TWRP included but you have to install SuperSU separately in order to get root on your device

4. sMIUI is modded ROM based on our releases pls find dedicated thread if you are interested in.

5. Developer releases get weekly updates, but full ROM must be flashed manually via updater app or via TWRP
