I think I sometimes don't even notice the reboots. It happens when I am NOT using the phone.

Isn't auto brigthness too slow? (Xiaomi mi5). I know is software and not hardware because I tested the sensor on the phone dial menu, and I tried lux too. It happens the same to you guys?

Another thing I saw is that if you put the finger in the sensor it won't respond. Only to the ambient light. Try lux and you'll see is not hardware, fortunately

The new Status Bar from Miui 8 have a Problem with the colors . You can't good read the text on the bar from status bar widgets. On Screenshot you can see the Apps: Rocket Player and Spotify .

The Screenshot is older, but the problem isn't fixed in the new version.

Go to settings, batery&performance, manage apps option, choose Pokémon go, and put no restrictions and alow background location.
Next find Google settings icon on launcher, go to Location and put High accuracy.
Go outside, enable gps and turn on Pokémon go.
When you done playing, you can change Location setting to Battery saving or turn off.

I'm located in Australia, will the GPS optimizations for EU create a significant lag with retrieving satellite lock when not in EU? If so, how can this be undone? It can take up to 15 minutes for my Mi4w to get a satellite lock.

This has only started happening with the MIUI8 ROMs

Anyone else have this issue?

2-at end of sleep time if front camera detect a face then It doesn't let screen off.(I had this in my LG G2).

I had also some issue with GPS, fixed with app from Google Playstore called Gps status and toolbox. Download it, go outside, have turned on gps and Internet. Run this app and go to menu and select "manage a-gps state", click reset then after click download.
Also you can try FasterGps app, there you can select region and country for better gps.

You can try FasterGps app from Google Playstore, by that app you can select region and then will modify gps.conf by your selection.
Example: had configured on continent:Europe and country:Croatia
