i was before on 5.1, as there was for some time now no other version than 5.1.

i dont really know but it was less than 45min because i was watching the 18:00 match.
it showed me a percentage how far this update is, never seen this before.

Hi there!
Updated my mi4c to Miui 8, via Updater > Boot to recovery > flashed zip & afterwards selected the option clear cache and wipe dalvik.
>>> Everything went fine!
Data still on phone, more free RAM (1.8GB/3.0GB), little bit faster UI, sweet experience of the new system, Android security patch June/2016.

Just take this perfect calculator from previous rom and put it manualy to system/app fix permission and reboot.

@ingbrzy Bug report: henessy. Status: non-critical. If you go to Settings > Installed Apps, you will see only a few of the installed apps. In order to list all the install apps, you have to 'click' on an application and then go back. That will show the whole list of installed apps.

I'd like to know if this bug is specific for the xiaomi.eu version or not, in order to report it on en.miui.com.

Same problem here on redmi 3 pro. Didn't report as i think it is a miui bug

Yesterday I installed this versión in my CRANCO MI 4W and when I'm in the street my mobile can't connect to my provider for internet, call goes perfect, in my case G3, at home all work flawlessly using wifi.

I haven't this problem, currently I'm on 4hr sot. Something still isn't working, autostart for eg. Apps closed with no reason and of course any notifications at all!!!!

Also on Mi4c 17% on 2 Hours !! (on this 2 Hours phone was idle screen off) with only 26 minutes screen on. "Android Process" is using 36%

Mi2s no battery drain... Still at 1% for two hours (standby 2G). But sometime messages app FC... and if i want to claim the bug at miui, when I unlock the phone i can only put my miui account credentials (no back, no home, no recent.. only notification bar work!)

How do I install TWRP from the updater app? Theres this option:
Download update| choose update package | settings | Reboot to Recovery Mode | Whats New

The TWRP for me is: TWRP_gemini_MIUIv8.zip ? I put the zip in wich folder? I never used it.

I have to be rooted? Any one has a link explaining this steps or can teech me with paticence?

Anything special you do to reach this? On first test I get pretty bad 37K. Opening battery & performance, I choose no restriction for antutu app & its 3d companion, now I get 48K. The previous best I can get with thermal throttle + interactive governor tweaks are 66K. So this 71K must have something I don't...

on mi4w 3gb, the phone overheating when used. On installation (very slow, 20 minute or more) temperature arrived to 70 celsius degrees. When overheat battery life drops badly. Browser is slow, didn't take every touch on the keyboard and sometimes freeze the page or crash without FC or a message..
Installed it will a full wipe..
No FC or major issue..
