I already have twrp, installed as soon as i bought the phone.Backup is a great plus coming with twrp, really easy to step back in case a rom has issues. Extra install time is at second level.
Thanks for your time!Third Step: Go to recent apps(in my case i click the left button), find your app and swype it down. This makes sure that it will not be autocleaned by the ram management.
Fourth and last step: Go toSettings>Additional Settings>Battery>Manage apps battery usage>Choose apps>Select your app>Customand give permission to stay connected to the network in the background.
ONLY AFTER THIS STEPS YOU SHOULD HAVE INSTANT PUSH NOTIFICATIONS WHEN THE DEVICE IS LOCKED. (If you have done it well of course)

It must be this latest version ...Confirm, the same .
Second post it's explained!I already have twrp, installed as soon as i bought the phone.
I had a few android phones before this, all modded with cwm or twrp. I tried many roms, none of them had twrp included.
So i am well aware of the advantages of twrp, but why include it in the rom?

It isn't the TWRP for sure that does battery drain.. anyway just download the release you likedHello , I installed on my RN2 always rom .EU right from ' beginning by replacing the original Chinese, never changing for not doing a full wipe, in fact, from 6 months I always have various updates only doing wipe cache and installing the latest rom directly from stock xiaomi updater, without TWRP so to speak , always okay until rom 6.1.29 EU , then I installed the 6.3.11 EU and I 've noticed that mi recovery is gone and in its place TWRP 3.0 .
Because I noticed that the battery is discharged in a few hours time I would go back to the previous installed ROM and possibly to the MI recovery. how can I do ?

Why installing the ROM 6.3.11 was automatically installed TWRP ? If I reinstall MI recovery when update to 6.3.17 will install TWRP again ?It isn't the TWRP for sure that does battery drain.. anyway just download the release you liked
........
and flash it wipe cache+dalvik.
I do not want to do a full wipeIf you want to flash an older rom you need to to a Full Wipe or your system will be a mess. In order to have Mi recovery extract it from the fastboot rom of your device from en.miui.com and flash it (I suggest you via fastboot)
