Question ; can i just upgrade from 5.9.1 to last version 5.9.24 (skip other version) ?

I notice a greater drain on the battery than 5.9.24 compared to 05/09/18 on my Xiaomi redmi note 2 (I did a clean flash).

It was also noticed many users on another forum. Please fixx it.

I have the 5.9.24 on my redmi Note 2. The time when next weekly update will be released, will i get it via OTA or do I need to download the whole updated ROM again and update the phone via the updater app? Just curious.....Hope to get a response

I guess it's a recent phone and still need to be optimized... . If anyone here has this device too would be fine to compare stats, see if you have the same kernel and system battery drain as me. As I said, this happens in every rom and version I've tried

I can connect to gps sattelites but when I turn on maps or any gps app the gps becomes "dead" it doesnt move the "cursor" as long I drive.
Any ideia about it?

Try resetting the gps database and look at detailed state by using :

"gps test"

1. Set location mode to "high accuracy"
2. Set permission manager disabled.

If you have permission manager enabled, you have to allocate permissions manually one by one for each apps and may some apps did not not get permission to use GPS at you. I keep permission manager disabled, with this way I allowed permissions for each apps automatically.

So, GPS works fine at me with any apps: iGO, Google maps, HERE...etc.

Hi guys! Yesterday got my Redmi 2 2Gb Edition with original firmware
I have installed 5.9.24 beta on my 2014813, and now I have two problems:
1. The DataSaver and DataUsage apps is seem to be dissapeared, I just can't find it anymore
2. I used to use Ios6_V5 font on my previous Redmi 2, but now I can't download it, it just ends in 99% and nothing happens. Maybe, there is a way to get this font another way to my phone?

- includes 24 languages
- includes Gapps
- free from useless Chinese apps and contents

So, it is much better for European users.
