I'm trying but no way, there's nothing in updater app in my Redmi 1S. I thought it was caused by xcelerate kernel but i flashed the stock kernel and I still have no OTA updates. ANyway it's not a big problem since I got the complete ROM downloaded. Thanks!

Big thanks for the answer, it's not a catastrophe, only that OTA updates are lighter, faster to download with a pedal-powered 9 Mb/S DLS connection
