For those who have problems with titanium not working, just flash cwm from fastboot, and then flash supersu 2.46.zip everything will work again.
Remember to change the Google play services with the correct version 7099436.

titanium backup cannot freeze system app (all apps have got own folder???), I dont want to activate Mi message but it always popup after reboot ...

Try App quarantine, you can freeze anything. And if you freeze Xiaomi framework you won't see your activation message again (but you won't be able to download other themes till you unfreeze Framework again).

Hi, after installation 5.4.2 lollipop on my Mi2, cleaning cache de installing Google keyboard every thing was working except Here apk. But after switch of on Gmail doesn't work anymore and refuse to be reinstalled after trying install I get this message.

Using mi3w, did a full wipe on the previous rom, using viber,chrome,facebook, no games. I have no idea why this is happening but the battery life is terrible. Performance mode is off, it just drains like crazy.
How can I calibrate the battery?

thanks for your help #oile I made first step I install succefully supersu 2.46 directly from the market
But I don't find where to download Google play 7099436 ( I found only o e on Baidu but i'am afraid maybe it is Chinese.
What shall I do?

If anyone has experienced problems with google services or google apps after update to 5.4.2 MIUIv6-5.0 on Mi2/2S, then should try this install method which is working perfectly (tested and confirmed):

1. install 5.3.27 MIUI6-4.4 fastboot ROM with MiFlash using flash_all.bat script
2. install xiaomi.eu multilnag 5.3.27 MIUI6-4.4 ROM using MiRovery or Updater app
3. update google play services and install gmail from google play and sync it
4. install xiaomi.eu multilnag 5.4.2. MIUIv6-5.0 ROM using Updater app
5. update google play services
6. Install any google app from google play what you want
7. done

Some people reported the stock Keyboard disappears or gets FC after install MIUIv6-5.0 (therefore cannot input WiFi password to get connection) , so I have modified the install method with inserted a line 3.1 just in case:

3.1 install any third party keyboard from Google play (eg. SwiftKey) and set it ready for use

In this case after install MIUIv6-5.0 the previously installed keyboard will be there for use for sure.

So after that should not be any MIUIv6-5.0 ROM issue if using this procedure.

Have you other ROM in dual boot? I guess, like Ivan´s 5.1 ROM, this is too big for dual boot.
I had the same problem with 5.1, but after Graw2´s method, it works like a charm.

I suppose if all you guys complaining about battery, FC´s ad other malfunctions, use Graw2`s suggestion, it will most certainly go away.

And yes, full_wipe (bat routine durind first flash) will deep clean the device, but if you use xiaomi´s backup tool, just synchronize again. And copy to a PC all the other stuff not backup-ed.

Also I got:
- 1% batery drain over night.
- 1.4GB of 3,7GB free after over 30 apps installed. But I now have only one ROM installed and no custom bootloader.
- Outgoing call perfectly identified with contacts (someone complained somewhere about this, I can´t remember) if matched.
- System perfectly responsive, although some very specific actions takes 1-2 seconds longer, like wipe recent apps.

Will post if something differently comes up.
Still have to solve TomTom not working.

NO, you erase all >>> once you flash with Miflash
after you need to synchronize MICLOUD to download Photos, Music, contacts etc...
but for APKs you have to do it manually
like me

it is not recommended to have old miui on System 1 or system 2
it is better to reflash the phone with the FASTBOOT ROM and to update it with MultiLanguage V6 5.0 ARIES
the procedure is clearly indicated by GRAW2
this is the only way to get the phone STABLE and SECURE
otherwise your system can be corrupted with the android 5.0 update

Now and then. Sometimes it doesn´t. Seems a bit random. Just experienced that.
