But had no effect.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve, or should I wait for the next release?

It is working. With paragon. You need to install Superuser (from chainfire) and download binary. After that, you have to grant permission for paragon and then it will work. With normal root (miui root) it is not working.

And did the update file suggested by @Alex Anjos in this post: http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/4-5-16.24330/page-9#post-208473 But had no effect. Does anyone have any idea how to solve, or should I wait for the next release? Thank you

To solve the problem with wifi, you should change the version of your modem. My solution only solves the "status 7" error during flash of rom and not recognizing the SIM.
Check the version of your bootloader on XDA and see which modem you should make use.

Set your theme to default one, and try again. Changing the theme can be cause very odd behavior on mi2s.

I re-installed MiPhone + translation , without any change and it works well. Strange !

Installation Error Solution;

Open the zip file, and then delete this file;

New Script.zip open the file.
Copy the file in the previous location.

Now you can install the rom.

@kiswum , which problems do you have with the mail app exactly besides the notification? I don't understand that you cannot change the sender email address anymore, which makes the current mail app useless for me (as I cannot send mail). But I cannot find any confirmation from other users which sometimes makes me wonder if I do something wrong and it is a hidden option or so ... or has everybody the same login name as their email address?

It force closes when you open the mail app.
I have removed tree mail app. Send the older mail app to my system/app folder and reinstalled the email app.

@kiswum : Thanks, I tried installing the email app from 4.3 (4.4.25), but it seems that one doesn't start at all... I'd replace the email app by an external one, but the calender is integrated in the account, so currently I'm going through the webmail :-(
