If the device is in fastboot mode, "waiting for device" can be shown if the adb android drivers are not installed or updated. Try to reinstall these drivers and reboot your PC

Well you might as well reboot your phone to be 200% sure that service is re-iniciated.
Also did that. Actually, I have done the process multiple times already. The error doesnt come up all the time but from time to time.

Hello, I have a crazy bug. Since this update, my wallpaper changed every night. I went to bed with superwallpaper Saturn rings and wake up with the standard wallpaper. This happens the last 2 nights.

Hello. Poco f2 pro problem super wallpaper, switch to simple wallpaper by themselves. Usually once or twice a day.

About Updater - how would you expect to get notifications about new version if there would be no service working in background checking that info?

and how does other apps send me notification without working in backround everytime (like Messenger,Snapchat,Twitch for exemple)

u might check if background carusel is disable

@Pilep1p they all work in background based on android default behavior (including your custom settings), updater is system app that is not limited by user and it is only 'check service' that works in background, does it eat your battery? For me battery usage by Updater app is unnoticeable, 0% currently.
