Haven't updated, but it probably detects the lines the pixels of the display make (if you take a photo of a display) and then it removes them for a cleaner image (probably). But I've uninstalled gallery due to battery drain and haven't updated, so this may not the case...
Btw I think the app says that it connects to the internet and since it processes your data it ~says you shouldn't take pics of sensitive info. I'd probably not use it ~at all...

No, RN10 is Global-only device. There's chance Note 10 Pro will get China ROM updates, but we need to wait for its China release.

If you ever tried to wipe or flash the persist partition after losing L1 (when first few Android 11 ROMs were released for the device), then you lost L1 forever.

I have never wipe that partition. The only thing I have done is install all the weekly betas. What I did, was to go back from 21.2.24 to 21.3.18 and from there, update to this version.

Edit: When I first installed version 21.3.18 it had L1. It was when installing the 21.3.24, when the phone started to freeze and widevine changed from l1 to l3
