I would guess that most of what you see in English are options unlocked or developed by the xiaomi.eu team. The updater app for example is not from Xiaomi but from the dev team and I doubt they translated it in Chinese. So every thing you see in Chinese I would reckon is from the China beta the ROM is based on and the rest is added/modified by the team. Perhaps you could help them with some translations.

Do you confirm that you have the latest Weekly ROM version? If yes, then I don't know why you don't have Widevine L1...

You do not say what phone you have. I have an Mi 10 (umi), and am using Miui 12.5, and so AI is being used. I have always had quite good consumption, but much of it depends upon your usage, and your own settings.

I would say this version has the best battery life for Mi 9T. Snappy performance. Only issue is i cannot connect to wifi while using a bluetooth device. Strange. Has anyone faced this issue?

It's safe, yes.

Oh and I permanently lose my Widevine L1 certification because I flashed the persist partition (it was a workaround to pass SafetyNet)...

Since yesterday mine L1 gone.. I Only have updated Netflix beta gives me an error DENY Something and l1 gone... Delete data play store play services delete netflix reinstalled rom but with no success... Any developers ti Help please?? Safety net its ok passed

Ah, so because you don't have a certificate your phone isn't considered "good" android and ~can't be used for ~anything that involves money? Why don't they fix their security system instead? Ah yes, ~forgot, how are they gonna prevent people from using their paid devices they way they want.. (they ~can turn ~1k€ phones into ~bricks that light up...)
If an app ~can't be used with broken safetynet/ certificates ~shouldn't be used in the first place.

I am with Poco F2 Pro / lmi and since this build I have damn slow charging speeds. With quick charging, it's not that much noticeable, but when using my usb wall socket with "normal" slow charging speeds (i. e. 5V, 2.1A), it's immense:

Usually, when putting it on during the night, I was getting statistics as follows:
25% to 100% within ~3,5h (~3500 mAh)

Now, I am getting statistics like that:
43% to 85% within ~9h (~1800 mAh)

Yes, you're reading correctly: Within 9h based on a bit less than half full battery it has not even become full!!! Okay, the wall socket has always been far away from quick charging, but the speed difference has slowed down extremely from what I have been used before. All other devices charge with usual speed at this socket.

Anyone out there also having discovered such a huge change of charging speeds? I can not imagine that the battery is going down the pan, because except charging speeds, it behaves in a normal way.

Here's my experience with this update on mi9t pro

Dirty updated from 12.3 downloaded directly from the forum because the updater doesn't seem to finish the download. Weirdly now when I boot my phone it says redmi.
Took a while to finish the first boot ( around 10 minutes ) just give a little breathing room and voila running normal and no apparent bugs so far ( and hey WIDEVINE L1 is there )

NO !
When you came from stock MIUI you must format [BGCOLOR=rgb(0, 0, 0)]/data[/BGCOLOR] partition to be able to flash custom rom and have no bootloop !
for that you use latest TWRP for Mi9T and from wipe menu select format /data and type yes to confirm. this will erase all your apps and data so you should do a backup first - if needed.
after format data you must reboot to recovery to enable MTP, that will allow you to access and copy the rom file (and all other needed files) to /sdcard and flash this version of weekly MIUI 12.5 / 21.2.3 using same TWRP.
you have all procedure in post #1 & #2 of this thread...
