MIUI 13 21.12.29/30 - First MIUI 13

My MI 11 (Venus) when put into fastboot does not appear with the symbol of fastboot, but with an all-black screen and the letters FASTBOOT in red.
Is that normal?

Well, you don't have Mi 11. One of our testers also has a Mi 11 and the option is also missing. So it sounds like this might have something to do with different DPIs (which is much higher on Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra).

Mi 11 feel light n very fast. But control centre dan home screen seem like MIUI 12.6.
Maybe anyone can help how to try new feature in MIUI 13 on A12 .thanks

Hi guys, i'm actually on xiaomi.eu beta 21.9.1 A11 installed with twrp on mi 11 ultra. I want update to MIUI 13 A12. Is there any issue to update with clean flash in fastboot mode having twrp?

Mi 11 (Venus)

Installation in update and as well as in format via fastboot (the phone remains blocked, reboot to infinity)

Once the first start is done (everything works fine) but once we restart the smartphone, the screen starts blinking and reboots instantly (like a problem with DPI (image enlargement) what I can see that ' is that the icons and the text ARE HUGE (impossible to provide a video or photo it reboots much too quickly and I do not have access to a second smartphone for that! thank you

(In summary: The first start is impeccable (even if I find the text and the icon a little too big at the base) but once a reboot is done, the phone crashes with a UI error (the icons are big and the text too , the button 'report' is huge we can see it 2s and it reboots to infinity (impossible to click on report or other it also crashes even if the time is granted to me))

and I also add: the restart button hardly works (sometimes it takes 30s to appear as never before) I nevertheless did a clean installation as indicated at the beginning (perfectly)

Check if storage rights are granted in the app?
If they are then we still have the storage bug in this release I guess....
If they do not then set them manually.

edit: Checked it. The storage bug is NOT fixed.​

Telegram and other Apps that want to download something inside the app are not able to do it.

Installed as fresh install.
Everything is working fine.
Couple of apps crashing when signing into them e.g. Paypal. But once signed in and reopen working fine.
Homescreen Layout option is showing!!!

Edit: Gmail attachements dont download!! Easy fix; use MiMail and associate with Gmail account; result = download works inside MiMail.
Alternatively save attachment to Google drive and download from there.

If they are then we still have the storage bug in this release I guess....
If they do not then set them manually.

Nothing stops you from recording a logcat though. Videos and/or screenshots are useless.
