Hi guys so to install the latest ROM on MI 10 umi : you need to boot 3.4.2B-1206 but not install it. Because it breaks the system boot and would boot only to bootloader.

Situation is : 3.4.2B-1206 can decrypt data but break system boot.
Also be careful : for it to decrypt you'll have to not use fingerprint nor pin code. (you just disable it everytime you wanna go to TWRP, for updating for example).
3.4.0 Little Turtle is OK with booting system but don't have data decryption. Some people use it without problem and install EU rom updates with USB OTG Key
Steps:

• Unlock phone
• Go to fastboot
• Plug the phone to computer and open up a command prompt where adb and fastboot.exe are
• Have the TWRP 3.4.2B-1206 available
• Enter in command line
  Code:
  fastboot boot twrp3.4.2B-1206
• Booting it take approximately 60+ sec
• Auto decrypt if no fingerprint and no pin (remove temporary).
• (first time xiaomi EU rom? Format data. Not wipe, FORMAT. Of course move back the rom from PC to phone storage)
• Install EU rom (who contains TWRP little turtle) and reboot (no additional wipe needed)
• First boot time is very very long. Go take a coffee.
• If by mistake your phone stick to fastboot because you flashed 3.4.2B-1206 just reflash little turtle's TWRP

I unlock bootloader , flash twrp , format data ,reboot to recovery add rom, after flashing its just keeping me back to twrp, no booting to system.. I use Xiaomi.eu last couple months ,familiar with all installation process, I yesterday by mistake install chinase version and after format data I lost partition so I must go back to stock and start all over , now I can not flash this latest version.. I have latest TWRP, follow the instruction and again after flashing I end up in twrp..

also another strange thing i found on mi 9 lite is that when booting, mi logo stay for a minute
usually on android 10 rom after some second it disappear

There is a problem with Mi 10 (umi) and TWRP. You can only flash with an earlier version of TWPR 3.4.0 (LittleTurtle2333).
From Fastboot, using the TWRP 3.4.0:
fastboot flash recovery umi-3.4.0-11.0-1110.img

Do NOT flash any other version of TWRP.

if the phone not boot the solution is that for now there is a incompatibility that some developer must fix

If you have not already tried it, try a Factory reset from within TWRP.

[Edit: ... and do not install any else like Magisk until you are sure that all is OK]

Um, are keyboard letters that thick for you too? Changing the font settings ~dossn't fix it..

Either some fonts won't be affected by Xiaomi's dynamic font implementation, or you'll have broken icon fonts in apps like Spotify and Edge. Pick one.

..also the weather shape on the left sliding menu from the top is broken..

It's not broken, your custom font is causing this...

Hy im on MI9 SE i bootet from fastboot into my recovery installed the rom with no failures.
But after hitting restart, the phone just boots into the recovery again and again.... even in the recovery hitting the restart to system button doesn´t change a thing.
So even installing the rom without failures im just able to boot into recovery or fastboot but not the system^^

someone asked about how's going with this rom.
still fine! It's a little slow, you have a second or two more before apps appear on the screen - yeah, tooo slow. but only subjective impression. Still not a real something doesn't work problem at all, yet. Everything as used to!
No battery draining (see screenshot).

This qualcomm Hardware checking send all your data to us thing...? I don't know how to get back there to opt out - even then: really does it? I'm just a stupid naive old german who cares about privacy - so who cares?
On other devices lineage with gapps works good, so still not paranoid enough to get completely rid of spying stuff - any thoughts? Sure not and again: who cares? Maybe assange would but they broke him, so what.

Battery usage is still way to high. This way it really kills the battery because it needs to be charged twice a day. 20% drain in 2 hours in Standby is to much.
