Miui 12 is not really ready yet for Lavender, additionally device doesn't enter "deep-sleep", therefore the battery drain.
But its just a first Beta, I'm sure, things will improve...

On WhatsApp when I don't see contact, I just click 3 dots on top right corner (when you have to select contact) and select "Refresh", but I have to do that from time to time when I don't see contact again

Long press on whatsapp icon, select info. app, then go to app behavior, press setting button up right and uncheck "Protect personal info". Worked for me.

Hello all,
I'm facing a problem regarding to the Google dial app. On my Mi9 I can't make any calls, after I set the Google dial as my default dialer app. When I try to make a call, I receive a message saying that I don't have network signal.
Anyone facing the same issue?

Yes, same here. If you disable one of the sims, it will work, but not when both are active.

Anyone else feeling like the phone is slow? It does not feel smooth when changing between applications. I have a MI 8 and I did a dirty install from the last MIUI 11 beta. Should I do a clean install or is it a common error on the Mi 8?

Solution:

Wipe all AA app data > Disable all AA app permissions manually > Start AA app > Go through AA initial settings and enable permissions when requested > Exit from AA app > Enable all remaining permissions manually for AA app > Now you can use AA without any issue

Oh ok so it's maybe not on all phones. I have a Mi 9 and it's here. Oh but I heard that it's only for phones under Android 10, so you will not have it if you are under Android 9 or before.

Clean install granted great standby performance on cepheus...switched to a AOSP waiting for some fixes but this ROM
promise great things. Much better than MIUI 11.

Dirty flashed from the Stable Miui 11 build to this one, but phone is stuck in the Redmi logo. It's a Note 7 Pro (violet), any tips appreciated.

Wiping Dalvik and Cache helps. If you are decrypted, you have to flash disable force encryption zip of your device after flashing the ROM zip.

Remember that someone mention this also... I can't connect my mix 2s to my HW 2.smartwatch.

The SW is detected but gives always the message "can't connect..."

Any fix?
