just in case , if it fails to update miui 12 beta
i try backup data on twrp 3.3.1.0 official but always fail.

Try:

1. boot into recovery twrp
2. go to advanced > terminal
3. in terminal, type:
   cd /system
   rm addon.d
   exit
4. go back to the main menu and try backup again. it should work.
