Dude!Does anyone know if there will be an update this week?
Readding the installation post it's writtenMi9t.
Hi. First of all congratulationsb to delevelopers for the rom.
I'm in weekly dirty updates from android 9 (passed 10 and now in 11). Always wipe cache, system and dalvic before installation. Reboot system and when rom is working I go back to twrp and flash Magisk (I only play Adaway as root. It's a must for me).
Well, I'm noticing in this update that internet speed is extremly slow. I've being doing some comparatives with other smartphones and the conclusion is the problem is in mine (wifi and data are ok).
After disabling Adaway and different combinations nothing improoved. I flashed the rom again and miassed Magisk this time. Now everything works as a charm, net speed is super, etc.
Some questions if someone please noticed something similar
-Could Magisk β has any trouble with the ROM/android 11?
-Adaway is in a new update kind different. Could it corrupt anyfile from the rom afecting the net connection?
-Does anyone have had any issue with Magiskβ?
-Am I wrong thinking Magisβ is the problem?
Thanks for readding and if anyone can give me some light...
Maybe it' s time for a clean installation? Is that the reason for Magisk not working (dirty updates from android 9 to 10 to 11...)
Yes. From December 14thDude!
Did you even bother to read 2nd post?
Particularly the last sentence
There's no post like that.Yes. From December 14th
You do not say what phone you have - but I'm not sure whether it is relevant anyway.
I haven't. I did a factory reset on the previous update as that was bad as well. Hence why now I ave to turn off my passwords everytime as TWRP bugged and it refuses to decrypt my storage. I'd give it a try if I did not have to go to my bank everytime I install their stupid app.Have you tried a Factory reset (from within TWRP)?
Taken from FAQs on the official TWRP website:
"If you're installing a nightly update, then oftentimes you don't need to wipe anything at all. However, if you encounter strange behavior, then you may want to consider performing a factory reset."
If you do a Factory reset from within TWRP, you tend to keep all of your files.
Have had several occasions like that on different versions.gingko redmi note 8, first time (!) "random reboot" - found phone asking for sim pin after pulling out of pocket today.
Did nothing special before. Stable since then. Have no idea, but think worth to mention here...
strangely yes. i have a k30 5g with 6gb, almost all the time is using 4gb, sometimes i start cod mobile and the usage dont increase. normally fluctuates from 1.6 to 2.4gb free.Hello, so I got my mi 10 (5g) and I'm ~waiting for the bootloader to unlock. Meanwhile, I found out that my phone uses about 4gb ram out of 8gb, running stock a10 miui 12. It seems a bit too much. Is it any better on xiami eu rom (the latest beta)? (It ~uses more ram than my previous phone had.)
Didn't consider that yet. Could actually be possible.Have had several occasions like that on different versions.
Found out that actual reason was a pack of gum in the same pocket with phone.
Somehow it manages to press down power button long enough to cause it to hard reboot.
I think it's something that should be disabled, at least an option would be nice, if your phone is locked.
Sometimes i feel that little vibration when it occurs.
And no, this is not a joke.

A suggestion - (if you are able to get through the decryption problem) - that I sometimes do:I haven't. I did a factory reset on the previous update as that was bad as well. Pitch black recovery doesn't have problem with encryption and its work awsome on my phoneDidn't consider that yet. Could actually be possible.
Bigger concern though is the TWRP encryption problem, which also ifoccurres to me. Restoring my TWRP backup, from last week is not really a good option. Maybe the right moment to install and stay on the stable version...

Me too (1) Redmi K30 5GHi, thank you very much for the rom.
I am using Mi 10 Pro. After using this rom for almost a week there are 2 problems as below:
1. Google Map after using it for navigation can not use the gestures to exit the apps. You need to lock and unlock the phone to re-use the gestures to exit the apps.
2. If you turn off your phone and using the cable to charge it. Once you power up the phone again it will boot up but after a few seconds it will turn off again, need to remove the cable to power on the phone.
Looks okay, but latest release for redmi note 8 Gingko was July, 28th - I doubt that this will solve this problem, which occurred right now.Pitch black recovery doesn't have problem with encryption and its work awsome on my phone
Okay, but how do i get TWRP to ask for pattern and not a password/pin? data partition still stays encrypted in recovery mode...use pattern lock mode and you won't have any problems with decryption.
I did (post #583, xiaomi Mi9t).You do not say what phone you have - but I'm not sure whether it is relevant anyway.
If you go into Magisk, Settings / Update channel. I use Canary (not beta). I believe that this is the correct version for Android 11. I do not play any games, but I do not have any lag at all - with anything.
Unless someone steps in and says not to , why not give Canary a go.
Two pictures - to check your versions, and the other to confirm about CanaryI did (post #583, xiaomi Mi9t).
Thanks for the reply.
What do you mean with Canary? My Magisk update channels are 3: Stable, Beta (wich I was using) and Custom...
Canary is somthing related to TWRPcanary? (I'm using official TWRP)
i can not enable voLTE and vowifi on this rom.

I have a Mi 10 5G - Miui 12.3 & Android 11. ROM: 20.12.10 Beta. Certainly no known issues.Hi again lain_B.
I've been looking at Magisk github and I've just found canary.
I'm not sure it's going to work...it says "Canary Channels are cutting edge builds for those adventurous"...so....you tell me you are in MIUI12 android 11 like me? And you are playing canary with no issues? Maybe I'll try it.
But everybody reports to flash MagiskR and Margisk 21.1 for not to bootloop...
Are you sure I won't bootloop?
Thanks again
