It's Chinese New Year weekend (today?), so likely no update. That's like expecting devs in the US to release a ROM update on Thanksgiving or Christmas or Hanakah.

This is the time of year when everyone in China travels home to celebrate the holidays worth their family. It's a huge national 3 day holiday.

Let the devs enjoy their annual holiday!

My info is only based on the Release Notes being Available on a Wednesday, and so far, Thursday, Nothing. Also, I never claimed to see "nope no release tomorrow" message. I was aware that the link required privilages, nothing more.

There are barely any changes. I used the Chinese build for a little while, and the only two changes I noticed were (1) a weird toggle above the Battery Use option in Battery Settings that didn't really have any words next to it, just an @ followed by a bunch of numbers, and it had to be toggled on to view Battery Use; and (2) when you clicked Battery Use, Settings force closed.

So, we're just better off waiting. We don't need any more bugs.
